walking up, there is a pick up and ordering window and off the the right to enter the beer garden where we had lunch. open area patio furniture with plenty of shade. food was great and the burgers were well made. my only complaint was that the mac and cheese was under seasoned for my taste, but hell, salt and pepper are on the table.

had the golden citrus ale and a high 5 up a. both came out cold and in a plastic cup. nice brews.

the smell of bbq, wood and a dive were great for our group.

clarification to the canadian review. burgerque has single,double and triple stack burgers on their standard burger menu, depending on what you get they can be pretty large. they also have burger bbq combination burgers that are quite large. the single burger (the one reviewed by the canadian foodie) is smaller and quite delicious but less expensive than the bigger burgers. the prices are indictative of the size burger you purchase, if you want a small burger pay just $3, if you want a large one such as the highburger you pay $5.00.

where's the beef ????. had lunch yesterday. i really wanted to like this place, unpretentious and affordable. however, as a weber smokey mountain q guy i found the small portion of brisket lacking in smoke. it was pulled not sliced and tasted reheated not fresh. the sandwich came soaking in fat or butter to the point that it squeezed out! maybe it's really more of a dog and burger joint but definitely not q. wait times also excessive.

one place that has everything i ever wanted. its fast but its not really fast food. burgerque is good. really good. the super high burger was monstrous. but the ribs and chicken that my parents ordered was good.

ummm...ok??. really, this is what people in fort myers think of as a great burger...??. i was more than a little disappointed to see my 1/4 inch paddy, in an old style bland hamburger bun, and everything on it still didn't make it bigger than a 1/2 inch thick. hard to tell whether the fries were fresh or frozen commercial, but i am guessing frozen. i did like the mac and cheese. it didn't give me much confidence to try the pulled pork sandwiches.

incredible. absolutely the best ribs and chicken! i have a hard time driving past without pulling in for those amazing fresh salt&pepper chips. the pulled pork & bbq chicken sandwiches are perfect! all three of my teenage sons have picked this as their favorite fastfood (because it doesn't taste like fast).
they have saved me from fixing dinner several times!

always had amazing service and food when dining here. the half chicken dinner is so flavorful and moist and beans and fries are just crazy good. missing out if you haven't tried burgerque you never leave hungry!!

let's start with the service, superior! thank you to mary. she was friendly and extremely accommodating. the food was super, mac and cheese just like grandma's and the burgers were wonderful. don't let the exterior put you off, it's a gem.

a great find and. some of the best bbq in the fort. ribs were outstanding foodies will love the off the hook food. don't let the locale fool you this place is where you want to go to fix the q crave

this place is a cool little find if you are in ft myers on a rainy day. don't get me wrong, when my boyfriend and me walked up to the place we didn't quite know if we should eat there.. we walked in the side door anyways and holy wow! bam a beautiful patio!

they also have a great beer selection, amazing bbq and you get plenty of food. great bang for your buck.

so happy we went and i will be back!

this is best kept secret in fort myers, don't waist your time at the mcgregor location, it's outside seeting is disappointing and their prices are higher. this location is where it's at. their food is wonderful! i've had the messin with texas, and the gravy train, both were delicious. my husband likes the jack burger, brisket/pulled pork. their fries are battered in something magical and their lemonade is so good it kinda makes you wanna slap your momma. we go here all the time and bring our friends into the beer garden, it's a little oasis.

fun and very good. four of us got together for a late lunch and sat in the beer garden. some beers, burgers and bbq were consumed. everything comes with two sides. my wife had the double chili cheese burger and liked it a lot. i had the outlaw burger and also liked mine a lot. our friends also enjoyed what they ordered. service was friendly and good. we would all go again.

amazing!!!. i just left burgerque after eating there for the first time and i am a veryyyy satisfied customer. the service was great. the food was better then any bbq i've had in ft myers. the chili cheese fries are to die for! the place doesn't look like much but don't judge a book by it's cover! i would give this place 10 stars if i could.
