burger box

will not go back. just completely remodeled the building, but obvious no attention was paid to service. ordered my burger "plain and dry", and the counter guy got it right on the ticket. my burger came out with everything on it. i sent it back, and after a wait i was brought out what i thought was another burger. upon inspection i found they had just taken everything off of my original burger, and they did a poor job at that with pieces of lettuce and onion still on it. on top of that they had it the back for enough time that it was now cold. i was on a time crunch, or i would have demanded a new burger, but i had to go. ridiculous not replacing burger, and i will not be back here.

i have ordered hot fudge shakes here for years. some young girl said they do not make them. got very short with me so i decided to get a chocolate shake instead. did not taste right. asked for a refund and she wanted my name and number. i understand getting frustrated just don't take it out on me.

an honest to goodness burger without pretentiousness. the place is clean and well maintained.

we had the mushroom burger, crinkle cut fries and onion rings. everything was good, hot and delicious!

they have a great chili burger but their service is the worst i have ever seen in my life. i have had my order wrong so many times that i will never go back.

service is fast, the place is always clean, you can call in your order which is a huge benefit. the burgers are made to order and taste way better than most fast food burger joints out there.

wasn't actually a box made out of burgers. i am highly disappointed and demand a box made from the freshest of burgers. no vegetables, mayo and cheese only. with a large fry and a dr. pepper with no ice. thank you.

good basic burger. i like burger box. they are comparable to sonic, but you get to sit down in a nice leatherette booth or at a formica table a la the 1950's. as mentioned in another review, this burger box updated its decor a couple of years ago and it is beautifully retro. the leather booths are light tan and white with faux wood flooring. the dining area is three times the size of the other boxes. colorful neon signs inside light up the words "burger box" and "blue bell" ice cream, which they also sell as a dessert.

i did not have to wait long for the double double cheeseburger with crinkle fries combo. this comes with an unlimited refill 16 oz drink for about eight and a half bucks. with shredded lettuce and tomato the burger was good, cheese was gooey delicious. there were two flatscreens, but they were placed in areas where only a small section of people could watch them comfortably. the sound was off too, replaced with pop music. i would like to say it was 50's and 60's but for every buddy holly song that was played, they played something from the 70's, one being lynard skynard 's sweet home alabama. go figure.

they even have their own local facebook page. it's too bad they don't keep it up to date though. i go to facebook a lot to see the latest info on specific places. this one was halfway decent--a year ago.

i like that the place sparkles. service was good and they bring your meal out to you like whataburger. yes, i'd certainly return!

double cheeseburger. upside down or right-side up, either way it's still pretty good.

good joint. i'll be the first to tell you that i'm a creature of habit. on the rare visits i get to make it to burger box, i always get the double/double with mayo, hold the pickle and a side of onion rings. i'm not going to tell you this is the best burger in town. however, it is worth a stop if you're in the area. it's a good, old-school diner burger. the onion rings are always good. my wife and two boys love it as well. i've been going there for a few years now and i just went two days ago. it has always been consistently good. if you are nearby and hungry, try it for yourself.

good price for the amount. lemon pepper wings were really good. and price was fair for the amount you get.

grilled chicken salad was not good. everything i have ever tried at burger box has been excellent, but this is the first time i have tried the grilled chicken salad, and they used shredded lettuce like you put on the hamburgers instead of salad lettuce, and they put the cheese in a plie on the side instead of sprinkling over the salad so the chicken kind of melted it in the corner of the take-out box. not a good experience.

even though they wrote down what we didn't want on our burgers, they still got it wrong. the burgers, after being fixed, were pretty tasteless. mind you, they were not busy at the time. the only good thing there is the blue bell ice cream. if we go back, that will be the only thing we get.

good food but a little pricey. everything was fresh. burgers and fries were good. service was good. old, out of date atmosphere, but clean.

great food. the outside of the restaurant isn't too pretty, but once you're inside and start talking to the people behind the counter, you feel very welcomed.

the burgers are great, the beef tastes very fresh. the fries are excellent too. also, they have ice cream/milk shakes, which is always good.

great food, love this place.

chili cheeseburger! crinkle.... old school drive-in burger joint. chili cheeseburger!!! crinkle cut fries with ketchup out of a red squeeze bottle! (burger in pic with ketchup pacs was a take-out) hand dipped blue bell banana splits, sundaes and milkshakes.
