inexperienced servers. i've dined at bsg several times, usually to enjoy their wednesday night wing special. the food has generally been tasty, and the wings are a pretty good value for the money on wednesday nights. however, of all the times i've dined there, i've never received service that i would consider to be good. the restaurant and bar area are both small, and there is never a hostess or anyone around to greet you as you arrive. they have a "seat yourself" policy in place, which normally results in sitting at a dirty table for 20 minutes until the wait staff realizes you're there. the servers are young and do not seem to have any experience serving in a restaurant. on one occasion, the waitress billed me about $2 too much for my dinner, and when i suggested she simply keep the $2 as her tip because i didn't want to wait any longer while she and the manager tried to figure out a solution, they both became rude with me and told me that wouldn't work (they simply needed to charge my card the full amount and take $2 cash from the drawer, i've worked as a server before). on a separate occasion, i visited the bar area on a saturday night (after reluctantly paying a cover charge), and i waited for an unreasonable amount of time to be served a drink at the bar while the bartender chatted with friends. overall, the staff is unpleasant and although the wings are pretty good, there are much better sports bars to hang out at (and order wings) in the area.
