buena vista restaurant

we go at least once a month (sometimes more) and have always had a great experience.  the staff is so friendly and the food is fresh, authentic, and so flavorful.  we have never had to wait long for the food to come out even when they restaurant is packed.  my favorite dish is the al pastor tacos.  i highly recommend.

i saw a negative post below, and cannot disagree more.  me and my s.o. have visited bvr many times and never ever ever left feeling anything but completely satisfied with a great meal, at a very reasonable price.  first, if any special sounds good to you, jump on it fast, before they run out.  i have done just that at least 4 times and have been pleased every time.  second, my go to dish is the burrito, with 1/2 mole, and 1/2 a spicy sauce (depending on the heat i want that day), coupled with the seafood/crab soup.  that soup is fan-delcious-tastic. don't go there and miss that gem.  my s. o. goes for varying dishes including the burrito, enchiladas, or a "special".  take a fav beer or ale, and your meal is complete, because they are a byob. (and that saves you some pennies)...finally, the dining area is festive, open, and ready for a happy group or family to rejoice with bvr's fantastic staff.don't miss this place, because what you don't know, can make your taste buds cry.

i found buena vista mexican restaurant when looking for a plan b on a trip to philadelphia. what i found was one of the best mexican dinners around.

4 strikes and you're out!. i've tried buena vista 4 times since they opened in the lincoln court plaza (about 2 years ago). each time i go, the service and the food gets worse. i mean, how can you mess up a cheese quesadilla? they allow no substitutions and are grossly over priced. the service is horrendously slow, food is greasy and has no taste. the side lettuce and pico de gallo was brown each time as well. i would much rather travel the extra 3 miles to mesa fresh in the gateway shopping center.

great food, delightful atmosphere and locally owned by people who work very hard to turn out a delicious meal with friendly service. my favorite mexican lunch spot in a 20 mile radius. highly recommend.

very friendly staff and the food is excellent. their guacamole is very good and they make an awesome burrito. great place for eat in or take out.

went on a monday night with husband and 18 month old daughter. good meal and friendly service. i had the chicken burrito which was tasty and huge. the rojo sauce was actually spicy and i love spice! my husband had a steak fajita whic was also tasty. our daughter had a kids quesadilla. fast service and pretty inexpensive too. would good back and recommend to friends.

i heard about buena vista from a coworker and decided to try it out. so happy i did! my favorite is the chipotle chicken and of course the fresh guacamole. everything here is homemade, fresh and delicious! supper friendly staff! don't forget your wine, it's byob!!!!

this is real mexican. run far, far away from cruddy rosalita's and travel down 30 to buena vista. i always get a chicken burrito with extra green sauce-medium heat. the service is always incredibly nice. i go there enough that she remembers my order ha and my credit card! check this place out if you love mexican and have some time. sometimes it is sort of slow, but hey. this is the real deal. it's not a fast food chain. good things come to those who wait-and may have a longer lunch break!
