bud's broiler

great tasting burger, great price. fast service i like the picnic styled tables and benches, it adds to the bbq style. i’ll be back anytime i am in the area.

the place was located in a strip mall, not really a comfortable environment, burger king like... but i was looking for a good fast food burger. if you read my reviews, burgers are important to me. i heard on the radio some poll in the city made them #1. so, i went. 
it's grilled over fire, thin paddy, but tasty. the roll was ok, held up to the sauces & juices. i had mayo, their sauce, mustard, & relish with cheese. the cheese wasn't melted, but shredded. i also ordered fries.
i was surprised how much i enjoyed it, it's a "diner" kinda burger but the meat was good. i enjoyed the combination of taste in the toppings, different but nice. the shredded cheese was even a good idea cause normally i like melted. i'd say this would not be my favorite burger, but i would go again. the only disappointment was the fried, bland & not a good portion based upon the price, less than a small mcdonald's. for what it is, it's a good burger.

disgusting!. the place is filthy, the burger was old, fries were cold. i met the owner, she wrote all of the reviews on this website, she is crazy. i should call the board of health, they would probably shut this place down.

this location has granite counter tops in the video poker area. they have free wi fi and pandora internet radio too. the cooks are first class and the place is so clean. the bathrooms are very clean and well done. the place was just painted too and is a warm tangerine and red behind the menu board. it is a real cool place and the owner has original songs of new orleans on itunes and amazon and you tube. listen to new orleans blues about buds broiler ! way cool !

deiicous !. this is the best place for fun and friendly service ! the food is fantastic served with a smile and always hot ! this is owned by the lady singer from new orleans...who lived across the street from the very first bud's on the airline highway....

the new bud's broiler on manhattan on the westbank is a typical westbank restaurant. the burgers are burned crispy. there was about 5 pieces of grated cheese on my burger and no mayo as requested and worst of all, we didn't get our fries we ordered!! we went to wendy's and got a cheesy cheddar burger for .99 and it was much better!!! manhattan bud's ... y'all need to take a cooking instruction from the city park restaurant!!

the old standard.. in this day and age of fancy burgers, buds offers something most places don't: that char broiled flavor. the meat patties are a bit small, but your basic burger cost like $2.50. if you want it dressed, it cost you like an entire buck!, but that is still well below the fancy burger joints, just a bit more and much better than macs.

frozen, not very good (but well priced) onion rings.

nostalgic. but the standards continue to go down. the workers don't care anymore and the meat patties get smaller and smaller.

love it!. i love bud's broiler! i have been eating at their restaurants since i was a kid, great food! i miss the fried pie's, they never came back after katrina.
