bubble nini tea

although definitely better than your average milk tea shop, the fellas at bubble nini tend to forego dumping in a bucket of sugar into every cup so that you can taste the tea. despite that, the tea itself is mediocre at best and unless you're a hardcore milk tea fan, not worth the buy. their innovative flavoured pearls are also imppressive but i think they'd benefit from giving them bolder and more defined flavours so that the truly stand out from the regular chain store pearls. however it can't be understated what ana zing job they've done with the floral and refreshing decor, giving them a very unique vibe. whilst an interesting deviation from the regular milk tea, unfortunately bubble nini doesn't go far enough and falls short of creating their own unique space in the otherwise oversaturated tea market.

i first came to know of this store for their use of an unusual cup design, not dissimilar to the original design but with the modification of having a rounded bottom. this gave the cup a cute look at the slight expense of stability. then i heard the whisper that it was one of the prettiest bubble tea stores in sydney. my interest was piqued.

prettiest place ever!! best bubble tea i had in sydney. i’m not a fan of bubble tea, but i really loveeee it. their pearls are handmade and they cook it several times a day to keep it fresh. pretty flowers and drinks make this place specific. “shake it before your drink” and “instagram it before your shake” lol:)

might as well go as far as saying bubble nini is the best bubble tea shop in sydney!

there generally isn’t a line out the door apart from peek times. when you walk in it’s roof to floor flower and feels like you are entering a fairy garden.
they are first and foremost a bubble tea place but also a florist and sell some really decadent desserts as well!

can’t get past how pretty the signature honey i’m home is. it’s a layered fruit tea with butterfly pea that is lightly sweetened and has mint, aloe vera jelly and chia seeds. make sure you add pearls!

if you like milky tea try the sun and moon with brown sugar pearls for a quick sugar hit!

nice boutique bubble tea place. beautifully decorated with flowers. the staff are very helpful with selections. i love that the pearls are handmade and that the flavours have been crafted so well. everything is freshly prepared, unlike most bubble tea places. was definitely worth the hype.

i don’t know if i like this place.

i tried their taro milk tea (which seems to be the most popular drink with zomato reviewers) and i found it very plain. i usually take my milk tea with half sugar and half ice but it was definitely less sweeter than what i’m used to. as well, there was so little ice that it took a little less than 15 minutes for all the ice to melt. a milk tea that isn’t cold sort of loses its magic for me. also, the drink is tiny - a large seems like a regular bubble tea at other stores.

on the bright side, it’s great that they use real taro and you can taste the texture in the drink, rather than the ordinary taro flavouring most bubble tea places use. the pearls are also quite nice, a little less chewy compared to chatime or gongcha. a note though, the matcha pearls have no sweetness and is a little bitter (fine with me but others may not like it)

the venue is lovely - they have colouring books, flowers and a bright atmosphere.

a really nice place to spend time with your friend on a cozy afternoon! had the “those were the days” and the “so matcha love”. they were great and they made their one pearls!

warm atmosphere, friendly staff, milk tea is also very good!!! their bubbles are very special and chewy! i really recommend to have a try ❤️❤️

best of best drink shop~ first time here. the lovely lady at the counter was happy to recommend but didn't rush us to make a choice. we had the strawberry cream milk tea and it was amazing. cute decor and the drink looked as good as it tasted.

tasty beverage with fresh daily handmade topical bubbles, definitely will come back again soon. pretty but tasty, the best bubble tea experience ever!

had the taro drink last week at bubble nini and loved it! went back for more yesterday and got the strawberry kisses but i don’t rate it as high. they make the pearls fresh every day, i can tell the difference! really good! very nice space as well with flowers arrangement
