absolutely terrible! worst cocktails ever! first time was lovely... menu changed...don't even bother coming here... absolutely sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! terrible menu terrible service... worst place ever

food and cocktails were awesome!! food was really tasty!! prices not too bad! enjoyed all the different sport channels available to watch while we wait

what a ripp off ,dont believe the photos. very dissapointing. the burgers are the size of mcdonalds burgers and the pizzas looks like kiddies box pizzas and soooo overprized!!

terrible experience absolutely shit service.
had 2 waiters and neither put the customer first.
food was late.
had to order drinks from the bar.

worst service and bad food. dont waste your money.
took forever just to order then took even longer for drinks to come. overall worst place i have been to.
managers are the reason for this. as they themselves dont care to help the paying customer rather chossing the side of the waitron who made numerous mistakes. expample... we ordered 3 whisky they came in shot glasses when we said we want it on the rocks in a glass she rudely said "but did you say that" biggest joke.

i have never waited for a beer so long in my life. i tried to get multiple barmans to take our order but to no avail. we probably stood there for 30 minutes while our friends were waiting for us. and then we asked for a water as well which we didn't even get so we just left it.

i can say at least the waiters were always around. the food was terrible. the pizzas are tiny and are literally out of a mcains frozen pizza box. burgers very bland. baskets were maybe ok, but u can't eat the coleslaw - they don't provide cutlery. and to eat in the smoke filled environment was horrific to say the least. with other smokers not even having any courtesy. there is no ventilation.needless to say, the show and the food was disappointing...

my husband & i have been wanting to try bru's bar for quite some time. to our disappointment it was nothing out of the ordinary.

we both had burgers which looked & tasted like leftovers! the fries weren't to bad, received a small bowl of tomato sauce (just enough for one person).

the vibe was dull, nothing special.

service was okay, waited quite some time to get the waiters attention.

waited a very long time before anybody came to assist us. got the double cheese burger which is a single with a half slice of cheese. chef said its a print error, not his problem. food horrible, service and attitude even worse. never again!!!! dissapointed and put off!

johannes jonas. man of prestine and a man of note in the capacity as a manager... me and my wife experienced and unfortunate event where our meal was under cooked and johannes jonas quickly assisted us in the most friendly and polite manner.... will definitely be visiting again. #johannesjonas #bru's restaurant carnival city

its okay.....milkshakes are great....so worth the r45 for one. the food is okayish...had a pizza with peanuts on....super strange but okay.....the service is very bad. decided to give it another chance today....11 march. waited 15 minutes for a menu and a waiter. this place is empty. and no waiters to help us. pathetic service. last time. second chance was given and service levels even worse than before.

06.11.2016 since i was at carnival decided to give the new spot a try instead of my old favourites.

unfortunately i will give it a miss next time. not because of the food, as the food was ok it was nice but not wow. my pulled pork was soft and tender and the chips were edible. moms peri chicken with jalapeño was ok as well, we asked for the jalapeño "sauce" on the side which turned out to be just sliced jalapeño. service was ok, i kept having to get up and call our waitress to order or ask for the bill as she didn't seem too proactive. the problem was the noise. i get its a semi bar / comedy club... but they have over 10 tvs going with sports which i don't mind. most people were trying to watch the cricket and soccer, but our luck they had a live band on a sunday. the music coming from the comedy side was so loud i'm not sure if they were trying to be heard in emperors. you know when the noise is so loud it's almost screeching.... we waited eagerly to get our food eat and run. we just couldn't handle it. when the guys singing took a break it was so much better cos i could hear the tvs and there was a calmer vibe. if they could bring it down a few decibels it would be great.

great place for pizzas and burgers. tried the crispy cheese burger and cheese fries which were really good. the place is really busy on weekends. even though the place is busy , service is really good and quick.

if you have a big appetite and you are lover of exploding flavour; bru's is the place for you... full of mouth watering options and never disappointed with the portion of food. a cheese burger has never tasted this amazing before!

this place is an great joint, especially if you you're a pizza or hamburger fan such as myself. i particularly enjoyed the double melt cheeseburger. i'd definitely come here again!
