best in lafayette. bruno's is a must if you are in town at purdue. near the hill. great pizza.....try the bruno dough.

great lafayette pizza. bruno's is a restaurant that i was drawn to try because of recommendations from several friends. when i went, i was pleasantly surprised by the friendly atmosphere and quality of the food.

bruno's pizza tastes different from other places, since it's not a chain like papa john's, domino's, or pizza hut. the pizza itself is cut into strips instead of slices, which is certainly different but after eating multiple, it can still fill you up; one of their large pizzas can certainly feed 3 or 4 people. when you're talking about prices, it's a pretty fair comparison to some of the other specialty pizzas offered in the area. i was very satisfied that the meal i got was worth what i paid for. one of their signature starters, bruno dough, is something most certainly to try while you are there.

all in all, bruno's is a great place to bring a group of friends to relax and share some good food.

the pizza over there is fine, but not the best place compared to other pizza restaurants in west lafayette and lafayette area. not very satisfying.

you go for the memorabilia. average otherwise. the kind of restaurant with fresh mushrooms in the salad and canned mushrooms on the entrees. #why?

good for plan b. ate there 10/11/14 after the game at purdue as it was late and the first place we came too that did not have a huge wait. enjoyed the bruno dough and wienerschnitzel. the pizza was so-so, but was a fair amount for the smaller size. we'd give them another try when in town again.

not good. don't waste your time or calories.

love bruno's! the food is amazing! we have tried almost everything on their menu and it is fabulous! the pizza is some of the best around! my husband, child and i always order their breadsticks and cheese balls as an appetizer, which are yummy. the pizza is a medium thicker crust with a great tomato sauce and excellent cheeses and fresh toppings. we also love their pastas and seafood dishes. don't miss ordering a martini with you meal...they are excellent and refreshing.
one more note is the wonderful customer service. we have been going to bruno's for the past 30 years and have birthday parties, special events, regular night dinners and the service is always exceptional!

nothing better!. i have ate at many different places and brunos is by far the best pizza in the area.

let’s start with the least compelling of the three: bruno’s pizza and big o’s sports room in west lafayette, indiana. definitely not new york slices.

bruno dough was good with the cheese dip. the mini meatballs were a big disappointment, tasted nothing better than frozen meatballs purchased at your local grocer. the pizza was decent tasting. pics included.

great experience. for the last 2 years, we have taken our soccer team- kids and parents- to bruno's during a tourney there. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, easily handling our party of 16-20, with great service. we really enjoy the bruno's dough and the kids love the pizza. several parents told me that they think bruno's is a great value.

not good! pizza was more than ordinary... crust thick and doughy (no crunch or crust), bland tasting with less than average quality toppings. also order chicken scallopine, which was a complete and utter joke! looked and tasted awful. ate 3 bites. wouldn't eat there even if it they were given it away for free!

a local institution. i've been coming to this place since i was a kid and it was the bruno's swiss inn. i ate dinner here one year before prom. i have to have it at least once whenever i come home to visit. my favorites are the pizza, lasagna, and bruno dough. not the healthiest food, but delicious.

pizza salvation?? not really. so, i decided to give in and try another lafayette pizza joint, very disappointed. the only thing that would bring me back in is the bruno dough...that was amazing. the pizza, thicker than most in the area, but still bland, and very re-creatable by any well thought grandmother in her own kitchen. i gave up on finding any good pizza in lafayette. i have to drive to merrillville for that.

amazing chopped salads. their chopped salads are the best salads i've ever eaten. i don't know why chopping the ingredients makes the salads so much better, but it does. one salad has lots of meat and cheese along with some unusual ingredients like golden raisins and cranberries.

their pizza's great, too. it's unique. the sauce has a slightly sweet taste, the toppings are generous, and the crust is not too thin, not too thick.
