i went to brown's point diner twice in july 2015 - once was for breakfast.  we were a party of 8 - and i have to say we kept them busy.  the service was great and the food was wonderful.  everyone had something different and everyone was happy with their breakfast. it was a busy breakfast time for them.

another day i went for lunch and have to say the french fries were the best i have ever had.  it was recommended that i have them - a friend told me she goes there with her friends just for the fries they are so good.  i had the patty melt and liked it very much.

we've just tried for the fifth time to eat and or have a drink at the sand bar and left once again because we can't get acknowledged. i'm not one to complain, i always give businesses the benefit of the doubt but 5 times in two years we have left without being served represents a problem the owner needs to fix. the restaurant is fine and food is ok but the bar needs someone to seriously look at its operations and customer service. we will not try again, nor will any of my neighbors in browns point who have experienced similar problems.

browns point's tasty treat. my family loves going to this quaint little diner in browns point. their sunday brunch is absolutely scrumptious. be sure to try one of their mouth watering cinnamon rolls. one word of warning you won't be able to finish it yourself!

didn't enjoy this place. boo! a friend and i came here because we were looking for a decent new place that was close by her house. she mentioned brown's point diner is something she has seen and wanted to try. i also looked in my entertainment coupon book and noticed i had a coupon for bogo entree.

when we walked in, there were several patrons but no staff in sight. we heard talking in the back but no one came out for awhile. even the people there were waiting for refills, to pay, etc. finally after about a good 10 minutes, this unkept woman walks over and brings us a menu. then about 4 other employees popped up from the back too around the same time. ummmm.... what were they doing?! from behind the diner counter, our waitress asks us if we want something to drink. we order water. she comes over pretty quickly with that, which was cool. when she came back to take our orders, i asked about the 4pc fried chicken meal. she said, "we don't have that." okkk. so i order a french dip sandwich even though i was skeptical of their overalls operation at that point. my friend ordered grilled chicken and a strawberry milkshake. basically they get two stars only for the milkshake. i tried it, and it was good. however, our waitress messed up on the first one she made and came over to explain like a teenager on drugs.

we got out food in reasonable time. the fries were pretty good, but my french dip sandwich was subpar. my friend liked her chicken. when she came back to take our plates, i presented her with my bogo entertainment coupon, and she told me that it can only be used with dinner entrees. i asked if she cold just honor and it and she refused. that was really annoying since i originally tried to order dinner but they didn't have it, even though it's still on their menu. i feel like business 101 would say that it's smart for business to sacrifice $9 once to get a repeat customer with good service, which would likely make up for the measly $9. i feel like business 101 would also indicate to never leave your restaurant front unattended, especially with 4+ employees working. i will never be back, and i would not recommend anyone to eat there.
