our family went to the restaurant at brookside for sunday lunch, and it was just fab! the scenic views capture your attention from the moment you drive in, with trimmed hedges, citrus trees and winding paths; so many areas to explore. would be a great venue for a special event, such as an engagement party or wedding.
the wine - i tried most of the reds - were also great. i was sure to take home a bottle!
the food was simple but lovely. i had a prawn risotto, my partner had the slow cooked lamb parcel, and my child had spaghetti. we also shared cheese balls for entrée. all the food arrived promptly and tasted great. my only constructive feedback: i felt like a steak was missing from the menu, and the kids menu could use some expansion as well (only spaghetti and cheese toasties are available). we enjoyed dark chocolate and peanut butter pie for dessert - not too rich, and just enough! we'll definitely be visiting again!
