absolutely awful.. the place was absolutely crowded, and it looked so nasty on the inside. as soon as i got in line, a worker tripped and spilled marinara sauce all over my pants and feet. he didn't even offer to help clean it up! i left right after that.

best pizza outside of nyc. this is without question the best pizza on the gulf coast. there are some other good pizza joints around, but none of them can hold a candle to brooklyn. just huge, delicious new york style pies for an incredible price. i can't express how much i love brooklyn pizza.

loved everything about this pizza. my husband and i have loved pizza since our weekly pizza dates in the 70's. we enjoy trying different places. having recently bought a vacation home in gulfport, we were needing a quick and delicious dinner on our night of arrival. there was not one thing about the brooklyn pizzaria experience that we didn't like. great crispy yet chewy crust, deliciously fresh sauce and ingredients, quick service (20 min for carry out) and friendly cheerful service. we will definitely come back often.

hands down best pizza!. brooklyn's is the best pizza place on the coast- no question about it! domino's, papa john's & pizza hut don't havd anything on this pizza! even better- the owners are wonderful! always happy to support a local business, especially when it tastes this good!

yum!. pretty good place! husband and son liked the pizza, veal was great, not crazy about the spaghetti, it was a little water logged, but not terrible. way better than spending $40-50 for delivery from one of the bigger chains! only about $22 for a "small" 16" (same size as a large from papa johns), veal parm dinner and two drinks.

best pizza on the coast. brooklyn pizzeria has the best pizza on the mississippi coast, possibly in the state. as a native new yorker, i say this is the closest you will find to ny authentic.
stay with the pizza, calzone or stromboli. you want wings, go to a chicken place.
owner is from nc but was taught by a brooklyn local from bensonhurst.

closest to ny pizza in the area.... ...oh, and get the garlic knots! god those are good.
pizza has been consistent for atleast a decade and that's what matters. the dough is cripsy, and not flaky which is perfection. i don't like the tomato slivers in the sauce, but all in all it's good. the cheese is also perfection. great, hole in the wall brooklyn atmosphere. if people don't like the way the place looks or feels then they really haven't lived imo. keep on doing what you're doing!

best garlic knots. best garlic knots, pizza was alittle soggy and the sausage wasnt new york style but the sauce had great flavor, give it a 8 out of 10. affordable price.

authentic 'tude anyway. the food was so-so, but i guess i'd have to call this real, authentic new york style because the guy running the place was an a$$!!!

i will say i had eaten there a few years earlier and i was not a fan. i've gone there twice here recently and its a pretty good slice of pizza and stromboli, alot better than before. service from the guy taking orders left alot to be desired as i stood there for almost five minutes to order and he made eye contact more than a few times and his attitude was just about as attentive.

not good, not bad. i've been to brooklyn's a few times, the pizza is ok, not in the top-3 for pizza in town. my favorite the stromboli is good i like it alot. the new subs they're making aren't working at all, i will even go on record and say it was nasty.

pizza is great...service & atmosphere no so much. the pizza and subs are great, however, the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. the service is nothing to shout about, and on weekends the guys behind the counter tent to crank up the music or tv to ear shattering levels.

their food is good, although i wouldn't say it is the best i have ever had. i have been a repetitive visitor because their prices are very reasonable. i will say the service and attitude of the staff is fair at best. they don't seem to care much about customer service, and seem more to ride on the fact that they are a community business and people like their food. i am sure they have ran some people off with their blatant non caring attitudes. i stopped going for a while but gave in for their philly so i guess in a way this is why they continue their ways... people continue to go for their food because it is good...

go to the bay st louis bp. i have been a huge fan of brooklyn pizzeria, gulfport, and have craved their toasted italian subs for years. i was ecstatic when they opened a new store in bay st louis and, of course, went in and got my sub. yum - just as it should be. well, today i went to their original gulfport location and the service was rude, lousy and slow and it took over 35 minutes to get the 2 sandwiches i ordered (really, how hard is it to make a sandwich?). the subs were skimpy, tasteless and not even toasted. thank goodness for the bay st louis branch because i will never go back to gulfport.
