very nice place to eat. slightly upscale casual, great selection of fresh breads! i would recommend the portabella vegetarian on foccaicia bread, it has an great pesto that just makes the whole sandwich. i actually ate half of mine before i remembered to photograph it! good, friendly staff and servers, one of the nicest little places to eat on the jackson area.

are you serious?. first of all we spent almost 27.00 for an order of chicken alfredo pasta, a roast beef sandwich, and two drinks. that just seems fairly expensive to me. then the pasta looked and tasted like it came right out of the microwave with some dry canned chicken mixed in the dish. the roast beef sandwich tasted like it came right out of a box or it had been made hours earlier and had just been sitting around,,,

while there may have been a few misses on the broad street bakery menu, it’s hard to complain about the overall product. even with that sorry excuse for a po-boy, there are simply too many positive aspects to dismiss this jackson hub. be it breakfast, lunch, an early dinner, or just a run for bread, there’s a reason that broad street always seems full. they put out a quality product, and when someone does so across such a wide variety of offerings, people will keep coming back.

try the to-go counter. i have eaten just about everything on the menu. i was highly impressed this week by the to-go counter. i needed some food for a family event and ended up with a pan of lasagna that wowed the family. we also grabbed several loaves of bread and they packed it all up and helped us get it to the car.

fave sandwiches, baked goods!. broad street is one of my favorite places for many things: sandwiches, baked goods, pizzas, and even their sides - all with distinct flavor and originality! my go-to sandwich is the blackened chicken (minus avocado, minus pepperjack, minus honey mustard, sub pesto & provolone and heated, please). for my side, it's their new white bean turkey chili (amazing!) or their gumbo (not overbearing, not loaded with okra; just the way i like it.) the full montie bar (as the name implies, a bit of brownie, a bit of coconut, a bit of oats and more) is a calorie splurge delight, and their cookies are heaven. i also love their brownies, and, they now have sugar free cheesecake (oxymoronic after all that sweets talk, i know.) it truly is a new fave!

the pizzas, considered small by some but more than filling for a couple or three people, are delicious, and their pasta dishes (though i haven't tried them) are said by many to be great. if you are a coffee fan, broad street offers many specialty drinks, and with their new iphone app (search mangia bene) you can get a glimpse of their ever changing daily specials.

a tradition for many, and a go to for me and my nephew (he loves broad street!)

disappointed. i had heard lots of good things about broadstreet, so i went with the wife to give it a try. i ordered the blacken chicken sandwich and it came old cold. yes, ice cold. i mentioned it to somebody and they acted like it was supposed to be that way. there's no way, who wants a ice cold chicken sandwich? they also gave me the wrong side but at this point i was done. i might give them another chance one day, but it won't be anytime soon.

i love broadstreet sooooo much. definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

restaurant is within walking distance from my house. eat there weekly, at least. best breakfast in jxn. love the cheese grits and croissants. granola is very good. lunch is great also. gumbo, pork loin sandwich, club sandwich, and the salad sampler are my favorites. for dinner, try the pastas. all of them are great. oh and save room for desert.. the cowboy cookies and the cheesecake are the best.
