i have eaten here before but this time was not good. waitress was slow and not efficient and the music was too loud and weird. our table was near the bar and some drunks were yelling their conversation and it was only about 6 o'clock when we were there.

seriously over priced small portion lunch. wow... have been here before at night for drinks/appetizers and drinks/dessert but never for a meal, until a few days ago when i took my mother for lunch.

$38 for 2 lunch size (and that is a generous description) portions - eggs benedict and a risotto dish, lemonade and one glass of wine. plus tip.

i am not kidding... now if the food was "oh my gosh that is fantastic" or even just maybe a bit more than average and there was enough of it to not only satisfy, but also have a second meal out of it, then, yea ok... a tad overpriced, but ok...

my mother is close to 80 and eats like a 7 year old kid... we struggle to keep weight on her because she eats half a fast food burger (the smaller ones) and about half her fries and cannot finish the rest...

however, she had half the chopped salad, half the piece of fresh bread (took forever to get) and emptied the small dish of risotto which she said was miserly on the sweet potatoes... she said it tasted ok, she was not oohing and ahhing over it. she never finishes any restaurant food and yet it was small enough for her to finish, so yea the portions were tight.

i had the eggs benedict, which tasted fine - nothing special, in fact it didn't taste any better than what i would have expected to get at ihop, dennys etc... wasn't bad, but wasn't memorable at all... potatoes were pretty and the asparagus was cooked properly and still bright green... but really nothing worth more than about $8-9 in my mind

the strawberry lemonade with basil was really very sweet, so i had to switch to a different drink - if you like drinks really sweet you will be fine.

waitress was pleasant, but we did not know what we wanted to drink the instant we sat down, we wanted to figure out what we were going to eat, but it took so long for her to come back to the table to actually take our orders we had to order everything at same time. took 50 minutes to get food and the place was not all crowded... most of the tables outside were full, but the inside was essentially empty. so not sure why it all took so long.

service when i have been on the patio at night has been slow, but i expect that, it is packed and usually way too loud music is being played at the stage right next door - so no complaints at night... but slow post lunch hours???

add it all up and no way will i go back for a meal. to think what yummies i could have had instead and at a much cheaper price...

we really enjoyed brio, but i'm not sure we'd break our necks to go back when paying full price. the service was top notch, even though our server was about as wet-behind-the-ears as our 3 months old son. when you consider that one serving of their lasagna bolognese, with tax and tip, would run you over $20 - it's just as easy and much more enjoyable to drop that $20 on some good meat and tomatoes and labor over making your own at home.

okay. my husband and i went for a nice dinner out. i was expecting to be impressed but was underwhelmed. the bread was hard the butter was cold (pet peeve) and the tables so close together it was hard for even the wait staff to get around the tables. i was bumped into at least 3 times. the food...we both had a chicken pasta dish that was at least as good at fazio's or spaghetti warehouse. in fact, i prefer spaghetti warehouse, especially for the price. we won't be going back.
