briar rose bakery & deli

seriously good food. this place has been built and baked with love. everything is tasty

truly something for everyone. my entire family loves this place! the pastries are light and buttery, the bread is hearty and full of flavor, the cakes are lovely, and the chocolate gravy...oh my!

unfortunately, i have to take the word that all of the baked goods are wonderful from my children and husband as i have multiple food allergies. i cannot eat eggs or wheat, which makes bakeries a little like my own version of the third circle of hell to enter.

here's the good news, they also make their own amazing yogurt with delicious fruit to mix in. i also get a tub of the homemade greek yogurt and bring it home where i mix in local honey and toasted almonds. i feel like i am actually getting the best thing they have to offer, and am not even remotely jealous of my family as they devour the pastries.

in addition, they offer many gluten-free options, such as a gluten-free cheesecake (not egg-free...but it still looks and smells delish!)

remarkable food. cinnamon rolls are the best around. the deli sandwiches are great. it's a unique place offering a large menu of items obviously made from quality ingredients. love it!

loved the whole experience. had breakfast, brought the whole fam and there was something for everyone. everything was delicious. the service was excellent. the entire place was sooo cute, from the front door to the bathroom. keep up the good work!

good, but still needs work. the bread i bought was good. we bought a slice of cake on 2 separate occasions, once was a chocolate cake/cheesecake combo and the second was a plain chocolate cake. both times the frosting was out of this world, but the cake crumb was course and too heavy, so it still needs some work. everyone has raved about the cinnamon rolls and the icing is to die for, but the one i got was so hard, i could have used it to hammer nails. i am hoping that was a fluke. my husband also got a ham and cheese roll(basically a kolache) and he said it didn't have enough filling to make it worthwhile. this place has a lot of potential and the prices are about right for a boutique bakery. we will be back in anticipation of continued improvement.

cost over $12 for a mediocre salad and a drink? no thanks!
had been looking forward to trying this place for some time. highly disappointed.

what may have been a hidden gem a few years ago is now a sunday feeding frenzy for many in fayetteville and beyond, and for good reason. the cinnamon rolls are without a doubt the #1 showstopper at this farmington bakery. the key to these bad boys is they are "iced with frosting" when ordered, so they aren't sitting around all day. lots of other options as well for those crazy enough to try something besides a cinnamon roll.

this is the place to go if you want the ultimate cinnamon roll! yummy! it's also great for really good soup and sandwiches. they're always very busy but you won't have to wait. cute place, friendly staff and delicious food for a decent price!

what a cute little place. the german store front is cool including the little door for kids. inside the pier and beam vaulted ceiling is nice.

the format requires you get in line and order. they will call out your number. it's difficult because the coffee, warmed food and prepared food are picked up from different stations. it's not explained well. the employees are nice.

the food is okay. most of the food is pre-prepared they warm it. the cinnamon roll was not melted. the sausage roll was cold in the middle.

i would come back for coffee and a roll. i definitely would come here for cakes and cupcakes.

this place has great food. the service is awful. i've heard the owners are extremely nice i just wish they'd hire a more friendly cashier she's driving away business not the first time i've had her and told myself i won't go back.

best bakery in nwa. the food: this place has the most delicious food! the desserts are amazing, the cinnamon rolls are huge, the soups and sandwiches are so good (especially the blta with potato soup--the taste of the soup with the big slice of crusty bread is reminiscent of german potato dumplings), and the macaroons are to die for (the best thing i have ever eaten)!!!

the service: the people are very friendly and helpful. the owner goes out of her way to make sure that you are satisfied. i have noticed that some people are so busy on their phones that they don't hear their number called to pick up their order (maybe that's why their food is cold???--seems to be a common problem nowadays.) my food has always been the right temperature. i've heard that the tri-tip dip sandwich is delicious, too. someday, i'll order it--i just can't stop ordering my usual.

the price: it's a little pricey, but you get what you pay for...and it is so worth it!

the atmosphere: the decorating, the big and little doors in front--so quaint. it's usually very busy so, don't be surprised if there's a line. very family friendly. my kids "ooh" and "ahh" looking at the desserts--they're too beautiful to eat.

not impressed. our family went saturday morning around 10 and they were packed. the cashier was rude and the food was cold. i asked for our food to be re-heated and it was still cold when returned to us. as we were leaving we noticed a microwave near the coffee station. what a difference that would have made for us, because most of the food was tasty - but who wants cold biscuits and gravy or quiche? we're about 50-50 if we will ever return. it's great that farmington had something similar to rick's in fayetteville and if the food was the same it would be great. briar rose owners needs to close for a week and spend their week at ricks - it would make them so successful! the food at ricks is so good and the gravy is constantly hot, as is everything else! fyi for briar rose owners, look at your employees facebook pages - very telling. i would like to help briar rose because they could be great - they are not just there yet. i noticed that the gray was dipped from a stainless steel bowl out front, without a eat source - even using a crock pot would have been a better idea.

good food but rude staff. i enjoy the food but the staff is so rude that i don't go any more . i wish they would all take a class in how to be kind and polite to their customers !!!! too rude for me .

great deli/bakery. i enjoyed lunch here! had the tuna sandwich with baked potato soup. everything was delicious and fresh. i wished i could have enjoyed some pastries because they also looked incredible. just means i have to come back.

been regulars ever since they opened. we've been going to briar rose ever since they opened their doors...and we love it. mostly we go for their sandwiches but everything we've had there is delicious.
