supper bad. they advertise one price and charge you another , they must have a huge turn around on employees because no one knows anything , and are very rude , if you like crawfish that have not been perged and have mud still caked all over them and that taste like mud mixed with a little gasoline then this is your place ,, i recommend spending your money some where else

brewsters has been my favorite place since they opened! i feel it's the only nice family friendly restaurant in the cc area! the mexican martinis are everything and the food has always been great! the staff is friendly and helpful and so is management. i could see why service may not be great sometimes, they get extremely busy when popular bands play. overall we have always had good experiences there!

i really like the food and drinks. it's a good place to come and hang out. it's just a shame they illegally charge a processing fee to use a credit card. in texas that is illegal.

definitely not award winning chicken fried anything. blandest meat. sides were the best. service staff really had no clue about the menu and got a few things wrong. this place looks like it has a cool patio at least.

food was good service k it's more of a order and seat yourself type place, we had to flag a waitress everytime we needed something they looked lost confused. environment was nice .

nice place. lots of beers and drink choices. food wasn't home cooked by any means. seemed like mostly frozen reheated or fried sides. was good overall.

will i be back..............possibly , this is one of those order at the window, pay for your drinks elsewhere. no tabs with a credit card and they charge extra for not paying with the card...this kind of service is not my cup of tea. i could eat at home just as easy.
the best sweat potato fries i've had.

we went there for lunch on a saturday. i got the lunch chicken fried steak & it some of the best chicken fried steak i have ever had. my boyfriend got the shrimp. it was good but only came with 5 shrimp which was a bit skimpy & shrimp were small for the price.

awesome place. just had lunch there. one of the best chicken fried steaks i've had at a restaurant anywhere. it was an actual fresh cfs, not an obvious frozen one you get so many places now days. fries were really good as well. wife and son both had burgers and fries and really liked them as well. great place. will return soon.

brewster street ice house. brewster street is a great place to meet up with friends for food and music on a weekend. we dined here on a saturday night when the all-american rejects were in concert.

the food here the the brewster street grill is pretty darn good. for an appetizer, we had the chip and dip combo tray with salsa, guacamole, and cheese. there is an excellent beer selection.

my partner ordered the brooks kieschnick tortilla burger, while i ordered the jumbo shrimp tacos. both were quite good and filling. this is definitely one weekend night spot in downtown cc worth checking out.

kind of odd. went to this restaurant just because we had never been there before and wanted to go to a sports bar for monday night football. the food was good. good selection of beers. however, having to get food on one tab and beer on another is just plain odd.

fun place. i really enjoy going to brewsters anytime. i went there today for lunch. the open air, texas dance hall atmosphere is fun. food is pretty typical bar food. i started with peel and eat shrimp (cold, fresh, delicious). next i had the mahi fish tacos, blackened. the fish was tasty and plentiful. we shared the onion rings (highlight of the meal) they were hand battered and too good (although not very hot). the so had a not-so-memorable hamburger and fries (fries weren't hot either). i don't like the "wait in line to order, then sit down and we'll bring you your food" idea. i prefer to have a waitress, but for an informal lunch date, before a ball game, or pre concert, brewsters is a pretty solid choice. not fancy, but it's a fun place to have a cold one.

been here several times. the burgers are great, large outside sitting areas, plenty of tvs inside (tho small) and if on the right night good music. last time here i had the fried mahi-mahi, turned out to be the best ive ever had.

well i love the atmosphere but paying $50 for two meals is ridiculous. that's because we didn't even buy beer. i got the shrimp platter which was five shrimp and my boyfriend got a steak and shrimp plate. the steak was so so but his shrimp was not that great.

great place. the food is always good. the prices are reasonable. and, the playground is a huge plus. i always try to stop by when i'm in town, especially when i have my kids with me (usually travel on business).
