great craft beer tap room. they have about an equal share of their own beers and guest beers. the staff are friendly and happy to help you choose from the vast beer menu. they organised a nice sampler float, which turned out great and i would recommend this as a good starting point. the food menu also looks decent, and the deco is a little quirky creating a warm atmosphere.

great place for a few beers with friends.

brew dog has a fantastic selection of beers to try for good prices. a firm favourite for post work or weekend drinks with friends. great atmosphere, interesting decor and cool furniture. the staff are helpful and will talk you through the beers on offer.

nice pub with good service. the music can be too loud at times. the beer selection is good, mostly comming from the brewdog brewery of course.

i came here after a gig with a friend, just for some beers right before closing. we both picked a pint of punk ipa and it was my first experience with it, and i honestly just chose it because there were so many varieties of craft ale and beer on offer, i just chose the one that looked familiar to me.
the staff were laidback and relaxed, echoing the atmosphere, and the food options looked delicious, although we had come too late and the kitchen was closed.

before brewdog cemented itself into my life i was completely unaware of the "craft beer revolution" which was happening around the country. ales and stouts were something old men drank in pubs with sticky carpets and bad decor and something i avoided at all costs.

in stepped brewdog.

opening at the end of 2012 and at the bottom of my apartment building on john bright street i couldn't help but take a gander at what it had to offer, and boy does it have a lot. there is something for everyone here. even those that profess they do not like or drink beer can find something to enjoy, they also offer beer cocktails or wine if you can't handle a pint, 2/3 or 1/3. yep, 2/3. who knew? though with beers ranging from 4% right up to 15% you can see why you might want a 1/3. you can also sample the beers before committing to a full measure. just ask the staff, they are friendly and knowledgable about the beers on offer, even the guest drafts which come from all over the world!

they even serve food too! you can grab their daily specials, i had a beef stew using their ipa hardcore beer during their live brewing event or try something from the main menu such as their delicious burgers. they also host music nights thursday and sundays as well as infrequent tasting sessions, so be sure to keep your eye out for them.

so what are you waiting for? join the beer revolution. you won't look at an ale quite the same again.
