i was in orlando for a 3 days vacation trip, please note before continuing to read, i am a vegetarian, and this was practically the only establishment that offered multiple options for someone who was not interested in eating meat or pizza. in the three times i are here i had the cheese sandwich,  the cream of tomato soup, the tomato and mozzarella hot sandwich, and the veggie hot sandwich. overall the price was less than i expected considering this is theme park food pricing. sandwiches were mostly $8-9ish. however? they were extremely tasty and fresh. the veggie sandwich was a handful thanks to all the fresh veggies, but the flavor was rich. i also would highly recommend the tomato and mozzarella if you are less hungry as it's a bit smaller than the other sandwiches. also, the tomato soup is ridiculously tasty. i certainly hope this place continues to be awesome. the staff was great, and very helpful. highly recommended.

well made interior's... especially those swings in the middle...gives a contemporary feel.

posted on 11:22 pm by jenny lu 0 ahh, sorry for being unproductive these days, it’s very hard to manage time when school’s been busy again so i have to share some of my productivity to school work instead of blog writing. updates will be slow, but i promise i will write whenever i have time!  after 2 long days at disney world, we headed straight to universal studios without taking a day off. trust me, it’s never a good idea to go to different theme parks in a row. vacation is all about being happy and comfortable! well… the only upside about it was that i got to have some extra calories to eat more food!  hmmm anyways, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of universal studios orlando? i don’t know about you, but the wizarding world of harry potter was the only reason that we planned this stop since we’ve been to 2 universal studios already.  and of course if you are at diagon alley or hogsmeade, you have to try the trio’s favourite drink: butter beer!  *found at every food services at both locations of the hp world don’t worry, butter beer is 100% non-alcoholic , it’s actually just cream soda, but really good ones. we tried it in 3 different forms: the regular butter beer($3.99usd 4/5), the frozen butter beer ($4.99usd 5/5) and the butter bear ice cream ($4.99usd 3/5), the regular butter beer is a bit cheaper than the other 2, but i strongly recommend the frozen butter beer.

if you read yesterday’s post you will know that i spent a day at universal by myself. as i had a small pumpkin tart from honeydukes for “dinner”. well, i was still a bit hungry, and had a wee bit of time before my shuttle came so i decided to walk through universal’s city walk. basically their version of downtown disney with lots of shops and tonnes of restaurants. they also have mini-golf and a movie theatre so you could quite easily spend an entire night there. i stumbled upon the bread box and knew a sandwich was exactly what i was in the mood for. they have a lot of selection, it was quite hard in fact making a decision. i eventually decided on the veggie melt. on multi-grain bread with avocado, pesto and all sorts of other goodies, it was fresh, flavorful, one of the best sandwiches of all-time. plus, the service was really friendly, and the sandwich was made pretty quickly. so hungry for a bite to eat, stop at bread box.

the food was good, i have no complaints with the food... but we did have to wait quite a while to get our food, as well as my boyfriend's meal came without the chips he ordered and my tuna sandwich didn't have the avocado it should have had on it. it took about 15 minutes to get this resolved! we felt very forgotten and they weren't very apologetic. we will go back in the future but not until they have been open long enough to work out the kinks.

i got tuna sandwich and tomato soup which was delicious and made to order. my boyfriend got the turkey grilled cheese and he said "that was probably the best grilled cheese i have ever had." the manager and staff was extremely nice. place was clean and i loved the atmosphere.
