the best chili hot dog i've ever had! the chili is spicy but consistently delicious every time. the restaurant is small so there is usually a wait during the lunch hour.

hot diggity dog. man, oh man. if you like chili dogs, and you like spicy, then this is your spot. brandi's is a small obsession of mine. i get butterflies every time i know i am about to go there. i really really love their dogs. the service is always friendly and prompt. they know a lot of their customers by name. i just feel really at home when i go to brandi's.

the most dogs i have eaten at one time was six, but my goal is to make it to ten chili, cheese, slaw dogs.

keep up the great work brandi's. i look forward to having another delicious lunch with you very soon!

i was really surprised.  coworker of mine ordered for lunch and i was skeptical.  the hotdogs were amazing.  i would highly recommend.  cash only so be prepared, worth the inconvenience.  if you are leaving a bad review because a local business doesnt want to be gouged by credit card fees, try running your own business and you will see why they choose to do this.

i still can't stand the 'cash only' thing, but there is no doubt that their hot dogs are absolutely primo. sometimes they get too wrapped up with the busy-ness of the lunch rush (one time, they forgot to give me my french fries), but that is far outweighed by the quality of the food.

3 days in a row. my wife gave birth to our daughter at the nearby hospital (10-15 min walk away) and i came to brandi's and tried the chili dog as well as fries and a slaw dog. it was so good i went back the next day, and today, and i'll go tomorrow if we are still here. sooo good!

why go to the varsity when the best is at brandi's?. i've ate here for years and brandi has the best hot dogs in town, but they are hot! if you don't like your chili burger, or hot dog quite so hot, ask brandi to drain the chili and this tones it down for those of us who like it a little less hot. want the best of show? order the chili burger (drained) w/o onion, and the chili slaw dog (drain the chili please) w/o onion, fries and a ice cold coke. nothing better!!!!

everyone should go to branding at least once... and once is probably all it will take, because one visit and you will be going back and back again for more. the atmosphere, from the small boxy building, to the vast mix of clientele, to the down to earth employees, it's a place always full of smiles and laughs. i really enjoy the spicy chili and always seem to find a spot for a chili burger to go with my world famous hot dog. this is a landmark you got to go to, and go to often.

we had such high hopes... the dog looked right and it smelled right. but the first bite ruined it: salt an insane amount of it. both the hog and the chili sauce were loaded with it almost to the point of inedibility. this amount of salt is dangerous.

the place is too small. i'm surprised they don't have a problem with the fire marshall. they gave six tables and a counter in a very small space. the chaos is made worse by the dozens of people standing round waiting for a table or to place/get take out orders. it's hard to move in there. the three women running the place did the best they could, but it was too much. as a result, it took 45 minutes to get in and out. salt aside, their dog is better than most, but not worth the hassle.

it’s definitely a good spot for chili dogs, but i wouldn’t recommend it for a hamburger. everyone around me seem to be having slaw on their chili dogs, and while i’m not a slaw fan, i can see how the combination of coleslaw and hot chili might make for a good combination.

finally. i have always wanted to visit this place. during lunch, it typically looks too busy to visit but this time i went during a late lunch period and i was pleasantly surprised. i had two their famous slaw dogs. the price is very reasonable and it was a tasty meal. if there is one recommendation, i would say use different hot dogs. but then again, this place is famous for the hot dogs they use so changing hot dogs will not stop me from coming back!

brandi's response to the negative review posted by mr. davis. for the record, we have had no one send back a "green hot dog" nor have we had any customer complaints of "green hot dogs." i am not saying mr. davis is being dishonest, but seriously, if i went into a restaurant that i considered to be a nasty facility and was served a "green hot dog" i would certainly register a complaint with management, expect to not be charged for my meal instead of ordering another one as mr. davis states, and run, not walk out of the building. additionally, since all of the hot dogs are cooked in the same pot, i am astonished that mr. davis received the only "green hot dog" that were served that day, since we serve a large quanity of hot dogs daily and have people lined up to get our hot dogs. common sense tells me that if one hot dog out of the pack were green there should have been in issue with the other hot dogs that came from the same pack. i think it is fair to note, that mr. davis registered on urban spoon on august 6th and reviewed 5 restaurants on the same day, and hasn't made any reviews since. it all seems a little odd to me.
sincerely,

green hot dogs. i came here with the intent of finding another great place to have a good hotdog. i was very disappointed. the chili is not bad, its very spicy and was surprised to find out that what they were calling "hot dogs" were in fact red links. one bite and i discovered that it was green in the middle and tasted horribly. i brought up this to the lady working the bar and got a replacement that was slightly better but judging by the nastiness of the facility here it is no wonder they have improperly prepared food. i will never return here as they only take cash which is a thing of the past.
