if you like baked walleye,  brads is the place to go. i didn't dare try the deep fried fish because the greasy fries was enough to give me montezuma's revenge.  i'm just healing from the fries.  the chicken sandwich my wife ordered was so thin that you could see light through it and it was so tough my wife could not chew it or cut it with a knife. 
if you have a hole in your shoe the chicken might work well.

i guess if you have enough to drink there the food really doesn't make a difference.
brad appeared to be drunk so the food probably tasted great.

i had a great time at brad's in october!  a minnesota themed neighbourhood bar. i met nice down to earth people, good laughs. had great food. a nice walleye dinner. just like home.great bartenders. they let me watch the home opener of the winnipeg jets vs carolina. great sports bar! watched the jays too.if i move to phoenix, it will be in awahtukee near brad's!

awful. we were there for over an hour and never got our food. everyone around us was served. waiter was extremely rude. do not go there.

great place!!!. brad's place isn't normally open on the 4th of july so we were happily surprised to find out it was! even though we missed his great barbecue with his smoker grill on the patio, brad was kind enough to provide us with some great smoked pork shanks and a delicious hebrew national smoked hot dog which was the best i've ever eaten. being originally from mn. i grew up eating walleye and am grateful i can get it there and discounted on fridays. free bingo on tuesdays, team trivia on wed. and sat. great fun! i have met many ne friends there!

thanksgiving. giving! i have been a customer for many years, with no plans or family local i ran to safeway to see brads wife christine early am they had a fabulous dinner for donation. other customers also out of the kindness of their hearts also donated dishes that all was wonderful . the crowd was a very group of regulars. it was heartfelt to have not known brad and his wife also parents to be so giving and knowing the work and expense to create a meal as such is much appreciated.

sadly disappointed. as we r from the midwest we looked forward to having a good fish dinner; the walleye dinner was $16.99 and that's not all u can eat which one would expect at that price. we opted for the sea dog which is a piece of cod with coleslaw on a bun. it was good but the baked potato was not done and two of us at the table did not receive ithem at all so the waitress brought us fries after we were done eating and then charged us for the baked potatoes.......fortunately, the drinks were good but overall i can't recommend the food or the service. the waitresses were busy but had too many tables to provide good service. i m sure there are better places to eat.

great bloody mary's!. best bloody in town. no kidding. just the right spice and zing. priced right too!

surprisingly good food for this hole-in-the-wall type bar! i'd recommend their wings and other food over ck's any day.

it's a fun place that feels like cheers with its friendly atmosphere. if you're from the midwest, you definitely have to check this place out for its cheese curds, brats and the like.

it's clean too....i feel good eating here. i'm glad to see that brad is making a go of his relatively new place!

loved it!. i went for the walleye fish fry on friday night and loved it. everyone at my table raved over the food, and the service was spectacular. we had a blast listening to the guy playing guitar. just a really cool neighborhood atmosphere with great food and service. we'll be back again next week.

in a nutshell: food-ok service-sucks. the food is just alright and the service is slow. they never have drink specials and the prices seem high.
the waitress dove will only serve the people she wants to, when she wants to. in a word b***h!. we get better service from the bartender even for our food.
there is another website stating that brad's place has pool tables and video games. wrong unless they are talking about the one bartop video game. the place is too small for an actual pool table.
the decor is not done very well, i know they are going for that "midwest" bar thing but damn!

awesome!. i had one the most original burgers i have ever tasted at brad's place in ahwatukee. a bratwurst burger topped with sourkraut and cheese. add a some pickles and mustard and this thing was incredible. friendly place and good food... now, that is a great combination.

great food....good fun. the real meeting place of ahwatukee! especially if your from the upper midwest. i go there often and never disappointed. something new home cooked every day and great walleye served by friends in the neighborhood. now where else can you find that in ahwatukee? generous and reasonable pours also.

not your usual "bar food". each day of the week brings new specials that you won't usually find on a sports bar menu, including a walleye fish fry every friday. so far i have only ordered take-out but the sporty interior is very clean, and the staff is friendly. i hope to dine-in soon and will update my review at that time.
