my husband and i are out of town visiting family in larchmont and looked up the menu online and decided to check the restaurant out. my husband is greek and we love mediterranean cuisine. for starters, the waitress had no idea about anything on the menu (not to blame her for poor training). we saw that there were no sandwiches on the menu, which was listed online as one of the options, and my husband really wanted a gyro. we asked her about it and she said it was only available for take-out or on the lunch menu, then she told us the owner was cooking and probably would make it for us anyway. after she asked, he said no. we ended up ordering the hummus which was runny, and the crispy phyllo rolls which were pretty good, but decided to go elsewhere to order dinner since the owner wouldn't make what we asked. being in the restaurant industry i wouldn't complain but it was listed as part of the dinner menu online, and they obviously have all the ingredients to make it so i don't think it was asking too much. poor judgment by the owner.
