i chose the chesapeake, it had shrimp, fresh shell fish, and bay scallops, with a pesto sauce and white cheddar cheese. it had a alot of flavor. the chesapeake pizza is like the sea under a microscope.

memphis' only brewpub. this is probably my favorite restaurant in overton square. the kitchen is excellent. the beer is all brewed in the back of the restaurant. you can see the huge brewing kettles sitting there working their magic. most of the regular homebrews are delicious, but the seasonal ones can be hit-and-miss. if you want a cheap domestic beer go somewhere else, this isn't the place for it. they do have wine and liquor at the bar too if you just aren't a beer drinker.

the atmosphere of the place might be why i like it most. it's not too loud and the lighting is soft and pleasant. it's a great place to go for lunch or dinner or to just sit around, have a good beer, and talk to your friends.

just plain rude. walked in and was seated without waiting. waitress came by to take drink order. we asked a few questions regarding any happy hour, drink specials, etc., since this was our first time there. waitress became visibly upset about having to answer the questions. told her we needed a few minutes to decide. she never came back to table, so we left.

best bistro in midtown!. never have a bad experience. the staff is always pleasant and the food is amazing. their stuffed mushrooms are the best ever and i'm not even a big mushroom eater. hands down 5 star food and service. will be back time and time again

just fine. we had not returned to boscos in awhile so my memory of it was not clear. we went early on a saturday and were seated quickly. we ordered 2 beers on tap and a pizza and shrimp & grits. everything was fine, but nothing was great.

love this place! i've had the sliders, pizza and shrimp and grits and they were all great! i've had the beer sampler and it's great too! bartender can help you decide on a beer if you aren't sure!

we chose bosco's squared on overton square, which is within walking distance from our house. we've had their brunch once before, about a year ago, but have not, unfortunately, tried any of the rest of the menu. it's a shame that we don't go more often, as reviews all seem to highly recommend the restaurant.

overton square staple. i have been to bosco's a few times and the food is consistently very good. i also enjoy the beer selection.

the bosco burger was amazing. we went to boscos for our bachelor/bachelorette party and our whole group thoroughly enjoyed the beer and food.
we ordered the calamari and fish tacos for an appetizer. even the non-fish lovers, of which i am one, loved the calamari.
i had the bosco burger with goat cheese and it was divine.
the only detracting factor is that we had to park 2-3 blocks away and a man with a gun in his waistband approached us asking for money.

avoid the shrimp & grits / brunch. paid $15 for shrimp and grits, and it was not good at all. the shrimp were unseasoned, over cooked, and small (only 5 of them were in the dish). the grits were slightly over room temperature and clumpy (probably instant). the tasso sauce was the only good thing about it, and it wasn't that good.

the music during the brunch (which i had hoped would lean towards jazz or soul) had country songs mixed in, which also brought the experience down a notch or two.

for the money you pay, the food quality is not there (they sure aren't making up for it in service). the beer is about the only thing they do right.

go for the beer...not the brunch. the eggs were overcooked and cold. the entree itself was cold. the sauce on the grits, (also cold), had an overpowering taste of "liquid smoke."
stick with a sandwich or pizza.

we came to boscos because there was an hour and a half wait. we had the fried artichokes and they were good. i ordered the salad with gorgonzola and pear and i added salmon. it was ok... the piece of salmon was really a lot bigger than i was anticipating. my husband had the steak sandwich and i tasted it. it came out medium like he had ordered but it only had sauteed onion on it which was weird. overall the beer is good but dont expect too much as far as food goes.

ordered the ribeye mr, came out mw. the manager proceeded to come out and tell me it was in fact, mr. if no blood comes out when i cut into it, it isn't mr. i do not dress up to go out to eat but i have been serving/managing for 15yrs and you cannot judge a book by the cover. all they wanted to do was comp my steak. i don't need your free food, just good service and a little respect.
