jalapenos in indian food??. we have eaten here several times before, the food is good but not fantastic. also, it is too expensive for the portion size. all other indian restaurants that we have gone to in ne ohio we always have leftovers but not from bombay grill and bg is more expensive than most, by ~$2-4/ entree. but yesterday was the last straw...we got chicken makhani hot & they used jalapeno peppers!!!! what?? plus, i noticed they reuse the basket liners and the sauces & spoons they serve with the crisps at the beginning of the meal. so we will travel the extra 30 mins to go to our favorite indian place...so long bg

excellent indian food. my husband and i have eaten at bombay grill several times now.we have always been very pleased with the professional service and outstanding gourmet food that was incrediblely fresh and made to order. my husband likes the food hot and i like it mild. our food always comes to our table spiced perfectly every time. we also love the decor. this isnt like the typical indian restraunt with the brass and temple look, but decorated with pictures of real life in india. we have noticed everyone around us enjoying both the food and the atmoshere. finally a excellent indian restraunt in our area.keep up the good work bomay grill.

the real deal!. we've had three good experiences with bg covering lamb, vegetarian and chicken entrees. each dish had a distinctive flavor--no gigantic pot of generic indian sauce in this kitchen. the chicken jalfrazi was particularly memorable with the herb and vegetable broth presenting more like a soup than a sauce with nicely cooked pieces of chicken having absorbed the flavor.

i ordered the lamb rogan josh "indian hot". it was served in a flavorful broth, a little thin compared to the jalfrazi chicken but quite good with the lamb cooked to tender perfection. it was not napalm hot as i've had on trips to asia but it was not for the feint-hearted either. start with the 'mild' and work your way up as the kitchen seems to have a fine-tuned spice escalation capability.

bg easily passed my 3-pronged indian-restaurant-litmus-test suite: the naan came out hot, fresh and obviously just scraped off the side of the tandor. the basmati rice was nicely cooked. there were several tables of enthusiastic indian diners each time we visited.

it's a crime against nature that fairlawn won't give bg a license so they could serve those big honkin bottles of kingfisher beer to deal with the 3-alarm end of the menu. but you can always stop by primo's deli and grab some taj mahals and bring them into bombay.

the service was prompt

dinner on march 26. thrilled to find another, closer option for indian food, my husband and i went to bombay grill for supper. everything was exceptional...friendly and courteous service, great food , reasonable pricing, and tailored to our 'spiciness' preferences. parking was plentiful and easy.

they have a broad ranging menu and the waitress was kind enough to make suggestions of items we might really enjoy...and we did. don't hesitate to give this a try..
