service was good but the food was not up to their past standards. fish was overcooked to the point of being burned and did not seem fresh. it was summer on a sunday so they were busy. perhaps they are getting complacent now that greystones has become a popular eating spot but if they let their standards drop they will loose the locals who are there all the year around. we were not asked if everything was alright as would have happened in the past.

if i could give a zero or below i would. birthday celebration ruined. two main courses were so bad they or the replacements offered could not be eaten. another main did not arrive but a dish we did not order did. food went cold while we waited for cutlery. no manager on site to deal with complaints. finally am angry rude restaurant owner at the end of the phone when his saturday night was interrupted over legitimate complaints about food and service. no apology for a birthday celebration ruined. this is not a restaurant where we would return even if offered a free meal, which is so disappointing because we were regular visitors,

good spot in the village for italian. they do great pizzas. near to the dart and the sea front for a nice stroll. staff are friendly and food is always good

bochellis never disappoints !! really nice italian cuisine. love the thin based pizzas and amazing pasta dishes. also perfect for cheap take away pizza as it's not greasy like other take aways

had the pleasure of visiting bochellis italian restaraunt in greystones last week . it had been a number of years since my last visit to bochellis so i was eager to explore their menu.

to start i had the chicken liver parfait and for my main course i opted for the pasta carbonara with the addition of some chicken and peppers.

the presentation of the parfait was very eye catching and it tasted as well as it looked , the only negative comment i would make about the parfait was the portion size of the bread served with it in my opinion was too small . the carbonara was delicious very flavoursome and creamy and the staff were extremely helpfull and nice . will definetley be returning soon.

visited bochelllis in greystones, really really nice quaint italian restaurant. great service also, really enjoyable. had the calamaris to start, found the batter on them quite tough, and also found the portion abit too big for my liking, was quite full when beginning my main. however this was the only fault, ordered the tagliatelle pollo fungi for mains and it was lovely! also have to compliment their coffee cups, so cute. will be returning.
