really outstanding. come prepared to wait, but the food is really great, and shockingly reasonable.

bobby's burger palace is far more than meets the eye.  though they have limited options for vegetarians, it's still worth going to.  the burger selection is spot on (my friend loves the santa fe burger).  the griddled cheese is delicious-the tomato mixed with the different kinds of cheese is scrumptious.  the sweet potato fries are crispy and fried to perfection.  the caramel bourbon milkshake is absolutely divine.  the spiked milkshakes are worth visiting for. the prices are a little steep for a burger joint, but the quality is good.  the restaurant is clean and the staff is prompt in ordering.  if you're in the area looking for a burger, bobby burger's palace is the place to go.

reasonable prices and quality food. sauces are really good. i enjoyed the atmosphere, decorations and music. try the vanilla caramel bourbon milkshake.

of course, we expected this to be a good burger joint, seeing as it's a restaurant of bobby flay. but it was much better than we imagined. the staff was very helpful and the prices were incredibly reasonable, for the delicious burgers and milkshakes we had. we would certainly frequent here if we lived in philly! highly recommend the cookies and cream milkshake.

this place is not like it use to be. first of all the workers look like they didn't comb or brush they hair. they served our drinks with no ice and said there was no ice available, the burgers taste like i had a burger from elementary school lunch special. it was not worth $30.00 for my wife and i. just horrible service. no one looked like they wanted to work there, attitudes when i ask for one of them to come to our table to ask a question. i know bobby flay wouldn't be pleased of the way one of his establishment is being run. smh. it use to be a nice place to eat. even the customers sitting next to me was saying the meat taste like it was old.

one word for this place: bad.
the place is overpriced.the burgers are small.the patties are undercooked.the american burger was anything but american.raw veggies were tossed into the burger.
and no sides!
this place is a disgrace to american burgers and american eating out.

bobby's burger palace in cherry hill hit the spot for me. perfect for the cherry hill mall food scene and the location featured simple americana burgers done right. so after waiting almost an hour for a table at the fat ham (they did away with reservations!), the gf and i decided to grab a bite at the bobby's burger palace in university city so we could make a movie time.

sadly, this place did not hit the spot for me. i don't know if it was an off night, but the burgers were lackluster and while i understand it's not on par with the mesa grill's and gato's of his empire, it wasn't anywhere near as good as the burgers were in cherry hill. one point of contention? the pickles. they fell apart to the touch (full disclosure: they reached out to me later to ensure that they would take care of the issue). the sweet potato fries and onion rings were pretty good, but c'mon two rings? weak sauce. the milk shake with bourbon? pretty tepid on the bourbon and nothing to write home about unfortunately. i definitely prefer shake shack to this particular location as danny meyer typifies consistency.

if i could give you any advice, it would be to crunchify your burger. you're going to walk into this place and get overwhelmed--because there are some really good burger choices. you'll be mesmerized by the burger of the month and the alcoholic milkshakes. you will order and you will pay and you will forget to crunchify your burger! so i'm telling you now...make sure to crunchify that shit.

it's hard finding a good burger place, there's always something insufficient. bbp has the right amount of protein and carbs to keep you satiated for a few hours. i had two of the "carolina" burger with sweet potato fries and i was not disappointed!

the bun was nicely toasted and overall, it was not a bad burger. sure, it is not as creative as some i would get on the food trucks, but with such a nice atmosphere and not any more expensive, i’ll take it!

delicious. i haven't been in the city long, but i've already been to this place about four times. the staff is very friendly and the service is quick. while the burgers aren't by any means the best i've every had, they are still quite good. the crunchburger is especially good. it's a burger with a lot of american cheese and potato chips. when i first saw it i didn't think it was going to be anything special, but when i tasted it, it was delicious. i'm not normally a huge fan of american cheese or plain potato chips, but something about the combination on a burger with decent quality meat is just great. it tastes like the chef wanted to take a burger you would normally get at a barbecue at the park and make it 10x better. it kind of reminds me of being a kid again. also, the fries are nice and crispy and delicious. their variety of sauces at the table is also kind of entertaining and fun.

looks can be deceiving. so ok, you walk into bbp and it looks like total hipster 60's throwback. worse, your burger comes out with nary a care for presentation (really, a hunk of romaine with the hard core?). i thought it was going to be overpriced schlock. but amazingly, the burger was fantastic. juicy, flavorful - great size too. fries were a bit greasy for my liking though - and overly crispy, but the sauce was nice. overall, if you have a choice between here and shake shack - go here.
