bob & john's suburban pizzeria

bad customer service. my husband and i ordered a pizza for delivery and were told it would be between 30 and 40 minutes. after an hour, we called to see about how long it would be before we could expect the delivery. the person on the line responded "well the delivery guy left 15 to 20 minutes ago, so it shouldn't be long."

after another 25 minutes, frustrated we called again. my husband expressed his frustration to which the person on the line (without putting him on hold) turned to his manager and said "i have a real @ssh0le on the phone - you deal with him" where the manager responded "what the f##k you want me to do with it?"

the manager then offered no assistance, stating the driver would get there when he gets there.

needless to say, we will not be ordering from bob and john's suburban again. and, if you order delivery - intend to wait.

great prices. bob and john's offers authentic buffalo style pizza and wings at a great price while many of their competitors are raising prices dues to the increasingly higher costs of foodstuffs. the pizza is similar to tony's around the corner on harlem road, but b&j's pie goes easier on the grease, allowing the sweetness of the tomato sauce and spiciness of the thick pepperoni come through. fyi, if you buy a house in the harlem-kensington neighborhood (i used to live on treehaven) they mail your household a coupon for a free large c&p pie!

good takeout in snyder (amherst). i lived in snyder while attending school in buffalo and bob & john's was my go to takeout pizza/wings/sub joint. good food at a decent price! if i'm ever back in the buffalo area i'll be sure to order a white pizza w/spinach! yum!
