blue lobster seafood

moved down the road and also down hill. we have been going to blue lobster since they opened way back and really never had a complaint until now, we ordered the fishermans platter it was such a small portion that my 8 year old was still hungry? it also along with the fritters were very over cooked not to a golden brown but a old oil burnt taste dark brown, i have no problem with paying for a good meal but when you pay for something and don't enjoy it at all and the portion is so small then it is very upseting when you pick and choose what treats you actually have the dollars to spend on now adays.

drove by this place a hundred times. i decided to give their lobster roll a try after a friend told me about it. let me tell you it was the best i have ever had. the place is very clean and the service was excellent. i will definitely bring friends.

great lobster rolls. awesome lobster rolls. i have been coming here for years. this place has the best in the state, if you don't believe me come and try for yourself. the staff is super friendly and it is a really cool mom and pop place. give blue lobster a try you will not be dissapointed. check out my pic it is a jumbo roll with sweet pot fry. awesome!!!!

gem of a restaurant!. best seafood in the hartford area! been there many times...love the ri clam chowder, grilled scallops, mussels, steamers, fish sandwich, fish & chips, poached cod and grilled salmon. don't forget their lobster roll...award winning and for a good reason! even the cole slaw is v good. the fries are crispy, never greasy. the fried fish is very lightly battered and crispy.

i always look forward to lunch here. service is excellent and the owner is the chef! i highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

nice write up in the hartford courant last week. i went in for lunch today and had the hot lobster roll with ri chowder. best i've ever had! i will be back:)

checking it out. checking place out. tried steamers. they were great. clean and fresh. lobster rolls were ct. style and very satisfying at a reasonable price. abby was great. warm and knowledgable. great stuff

diamond in the rough. this place brought me back to the good cooking on the coast of maine. the customer service was superior as well as the food and time it came out from the oceanic kitchen. all hope is not lost! i found this seafood place a month ago and have been there three times since, have not ordered anything i didn't love yet!

love the new location. havent been there since the old place, what an improvement congrats greg and sal the place is spotless and your food is as delicious as i remembered. i really miss this place and now that i'm back in town you guys will be seeing me regularly for that lobster roll and chowder fix i always need thanks again guys and keep up the good work

hi. today i had a long day at the beach. but was very stressed by my company. so..i truly wanted some great tasting seafood. well, once i rushed home to eat my combo meal of shrimp and clams with bellies..and clam chowder..i then realized why i did not go back since 2006! i could of went to the chinese buffet and at least eat all the crab legs and shrimp that i wanted for less than $20.42! i was upset. my whole belly clams were so tough and chewy. it was like eating a piece of fried rubber. the shrimp was nothing to rant and rave about. the clam chowder should just be called cup of cream! the mini potatos were not even enough to feed a toddler. no clam taste what so ever. friendlys actually have more clams and chunky potatos! go friendlys!!! the smidgen of coleslaw in a tarter sauce cup was a complete joke along with the frozen cocktail sauce. i dont know how they are in business. i will never go there again even if it was for free!! only go there if you wanna practically choke and vomit what you cant chew and digest. also if you just want lots of nasty fries. they totally ruined my seafood experience and beach day. now i gotta get ready to go get a cup of clam chowder at friendlys. at least it is what it is called. it tastes great...even if its poured from a can or bag. everyone...save your money for some gasoline.

great service, great food. i've been going with my sister for years. i would recommend... new england chowder, lobster rolls, stuffed shrimp, cocktail shrimp and crab cakes!

also, last christmas they made me a beautiful shrimp platter for me to bring to my holiday party. it was such a hit! the shrimp are huge and juicy and just perfect! they decorated the plate beautifully with fruit and sauce. a+++++++++++

absolutely delicious!!!!!. the food at blue lobster is the best! lobster roll, ne clam chowder, whole belly clams, fisherman platter, french fries are great! portions are huge and prices reasonable! service is friendly and atmosphere is really relaxed and comfortable! i highly recommend it!!

love it way better than chowder pot, plus way cheaper...
