if you like asian fusion food, you don't have to go further than blue kanu 😅 i don't believe anything on the menu is traditional to any asian culture haha but it was definitely an interesting experiencing.
because we couldn't quite decided what we wanted, we went with the feed me menu for 5 people
love:
🔸the variety we got within the 4 courses (4 courses doesn't necessarily mean only 4 dishes)
🔸really fresh seafood, really enjoyed the kokoda, don't think i've ever tried it before
🔸a lot of freshness in the dishes as most of them has a fresh fruit salad/salsa along with it like mango or pineapple
🔸the kung pao duck nachos were one of my favourite dishes of the evening, it was definitely a little bit different with duck and mango jam and whipped goat cheese, and despite me not being a fan of goat cheese usually, loved the flavour combination
🔸each dish was sizeable for each person try a good amount
like:
🔸enjoyed that there was 3 mains, including a vegetable dish too so we weren't just bombarded with meat but i wish not every dish was spicy
🔸the lava flow cocktail was a tasty strawberry pina colada
feedback:
🔹liked that we got to try a few different types of dessert however nothing really stood out, they were mostly enjoyable though
