blue has enjoyable food and great pairings, would like to have seen alittle better service considering reputation.

we came here for our 3 year anniversary, and it did not disappoint. my only complaint would be the price, as it was very expensive, but other than that, no complaints! we both got the 3 course meal and every part of it was excellent! the service was very attentive and helpful and the atmosphere itself was beautiful! we will definitely be back!

my girlfriend and i made a reservation for 6:15 on a thursday night. we were greeted and shown to our candlelit table immediately.

we both decided that we were going to order the 3-course prix fixe dinner for $30. this includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert.

i started with their soup du jour which was a ham, sausage, and bean soup. it was okay. she ordered the market green salad. she liked hers as well, but could of used a little extra dressing.

for dinner i decided to go with the broiled twin filets w/ mashed potatoes and she got the vegetable penne pasta. unfortunately, i wasn't crazy about my selection. the steak was chewy and i didn't care for the hop whiskey demi-glace that accompanied it. the pasta dish though was very good. the white wine garlic cream sauce was awesome!

we finished with creme brule and dark chocolate cake w/ peanut butter mousse. both delicious!

our server was accommodating and the staff as a whole was very professional, almost too professional though. everyone was very nice and super respectful, but no one had much of a personality.

beautiful place, but not somewhere that i would rush back too.

to celebrate stephen's triumphant appearance as guest conductor, we treated ourselves to a round of drinks -- g&t for him and strawberry basil lemonade ($9) for me. even though i always equate this particular combination of ingredients with the summer months, something about it just sounded so good, and i couldn't ignore the temptation. the mixture of strawberry vodka and fresh lemon, basil, and strawberries was nice and smooth and totally hit the spot.

great ambiance but poor service. ok food. very disappointing for a high end restaurant. go for the drinks. that's it

had a very nice evening. frank, our waiter, was great. food was wonderful with courses evenly spaced. will certainly be going back.

been there 3 times over 6 years.(spending about $2,000 all total) i can't say this last time was worth it. the first time was awesome. so much so i wrote them a letter. second time food was great, but the service lacked. this time service was good, but the food lacked. when you want to charge $8 for a side of potatoes i suggest they are fresh not left over tasteless nuggets fish was overcooked. i can go on. needless to say not going back.

ask for nate! great service and love the makeover. key lime martini is awesome (but need to kick up the beer menu a couple of notches).

don't eat here!! this place is a ripoff! the food is not that good! it's very expensive & u don't even get a lot!

nothing special. dined here once around thanksgiving. not impressed. waitress got the side order of potatoes wrong and argued with us that we were in the wrong about what we ordered. how rude! manager was clueless about how to handle customers and tried to schmooze us. it was almost laughable. food was forgettable and uninspired. save your money and go somewhere else like emeril's.

home away from home.... i love blue...the food is always good and the service is impeccable. cory and erin take such good care of us. the crab macaroni and cheese is a decadently delicious appetizer and you can't go wrong with the filet. a fabulous wine and martini selection. i could eat there every day! love it!!

buck up blue!!!. i took my wife here for our 33rd anniversary. we were both surprisingly underwhelmed this time around. my steak? totally unremarkable for a bone in filet at 41 smackers! the mushrooms were average. asparagus? have had the same quality of taste for a lot less elsewhere. her entre was equally as disappointing. the sashimi tuna was quite good as an appetizer. the lettuce wedge? how do you screw that up? total of over $150 and that was without dessert and only one glass of wine! it was supposed to be a high class treat. nope. nice digs but i fear that blue may become just another undistinguished high price joint. we may not be back and listed at least five other restaurants at lowr cost that we would have rather gone to after the fact. the 33rd anniversary meal was memorable for its letdown!

my experience? i travel domestically and internationally and have eaten in many place so called upper crust places. blue is losing its to rating with me. they may have setttled into the mundane. i assume that the martini bar is still top notch though... i may steer outside the area business associates away next time though... a shame!
