.........sushi at southcenter mall. went to blue c sushi at southcenter mall during spring break for a late lunch…..1:30pm. as expected, it was not very busy at this time of day. the host was friendly and gave us the option of a booth or sushi bar. we picked the sushi bar so the kids can pick and choose what they want to eat.
blue c sushi is a self serve restaurant. sushi travels around on a belt covered and you just help yourself to what you want. if it's not available, you can also ask the sushi chef make you your favorites. blue c sushi is a great place for people who are not too sure what to order. the place is very clean. unlike some of the other sushi places - sushi land and o'sushi grill in the area with the same concept, blue c has a great selection of sushi to select from. the big advantage at blue c is the fact, they know what the hot sellers are and they're always replenishing the hot sellers.
the cost of the sushi is based on the color of the plates - prices range from $2.50 to $5.50. there are lots of fusion dishes. being from vancouver and haven eaten sushi for 35+ years, the quality of sushi at blue c is very good. my favourite dish was the seared tuna with ginger sauce! quality if much better than sushi land and comparable to o'sushi grill. since we're just visiting from vancouver, i believe the pricing is equivalent to the sushi land and o'sushi grill.
i would definitely recommend blue c sushi at southcenter mall to others! heck, both my kids really enjoyed their food which is another great sign. please do keep in mind, there are other blue c sushi restaurants within the seattle area.
i have only have one negative comment - japanese tea is not included as part of your meal - $1.75 charge. water is free!
lunch for 4 was $45 which is acceptable!
