loved the atmosphere of this place, nice vibe. we went out in search of the blind lady ale house but the sign outside reads automatic brewing company, the name of the brewery co-located there. recent change to signage maybe? great beer selection and really tasty pizza. you can order a flight of beer to sample a bunch of the automatic brewing co's beer, which was a nice option. wish they were in my home neighborhood, will definite visit again next time i'm in the area.

i’ve raved about the pizzas at blind lady ale house before already, but it’s been quite some time since my last visit. a couple of weeks ago, s and i attended a concert at lestat’s west, and blah happens to be right down the street, so dinner choice was pretty much a no-brainer!. their menu changes seasonally, and their taps are constantly revolving. while we were there, it just so happened to be los angeles beer week, and they had a special flight featuring some of la’s microbreweries!

this is one of my favorite spots in san diego to go to for a great thin crust pizza. couple that with some great craft beers and you've got all the elements for a great evening...if you can find a table. this place can get really packed, making it difficult to snag a seat.

my favorite pub by far when i lived in san diego. it has expanded since i moved away, but even with the extra space (which it needed due to its popularity) it still keeps the small, local public feel (i made sure to go on my last visit to sd).

great place to go if you want to try a plethora of local beers including their own craft, automatic brewing.

to end our meal we feasted on the egg & bacon pizza. haha! just thinking about this makes me smile. who puts swiss chard on pizza? i’ll go one step further, who puts swiss chard on pizza and makes it taste good? blah does! the bacon, egg, romano, fontina, and caramelized onions certainly don’t hurt the cause. folks, i think we found a one, two, three knockout winning combo here in the salad, fries, and pizza. me thinks a trip to blah is long overdue!

i love this place because of the craft beer and pizza of course. the menu changes a bit, but when they have the white anchovies, get those , yum. it is kid friendly having games, crayons and books for the kiddos.

as nice a beer selection as any other place. but $5 for a cup of peanuts? the bar next door gives you those for free.

on my last visit to san diego, she introduced me to the blind lady ale house , a super awesome local beer and pizza joint. blind lady pride themselves on top notch quality beer and food, and specializes in draft beer. they offer 26 on tap that changes often, and the majority of the ingredients used in their food is certified organic and locally grown. what i loved about this place was that it was more than just a restaurant. it was a place for friends, families, and the community to come together and connect. for breast cancer awareness month, they had vendors and educators come in to teach about breast cancer and raise money for it. here are some of the goodies that we left with: and here is lisa

great place when its not too crowded. lots of folks on here whine about their pizzas but i personally love these kinds of pizzas. i suspect the whiners are the kind that like woodstocks pizza, thick doughy crust and about an inch of toppings that form a gooey glutinous mess. these pizzas are delicate, delicious and the ingredients are fresh. a nice selection of beers, of course. just don't drink the wine - overpriced and not very good. i mean, it is an ale house.

the pizza is excellent!! perfect thin crust, just enough cheese - not like those pizzas that you get sick of the amount of (bad quality) cheese, just to disguise the bad "everything else", sauce was yummy. pair that with casual/peaceful atmosphere and great beer and you have a winner:) will definitely go back many times:)

better charcuterie than the linkery!. if the charcuterie is any indication of the love and craftsmanship at this restaurant, we are sold! everything was handcrafted, beautifully flavored, locally sourced and organic when possible. amazing! we will be back!

great for beer and wine. service and pizza not so much. pizza was as one other reviewer put, greasy! service sucked too. my friend got their pizza at least 20 minutes before i got mine! they run out of food, i hear they run out of beers too. if you want more of the beer and wine you have to go back up and get into line again. they appear to be doing good business but i would not choose to go back.

mmmmmmmm. my husband and i love this place! not only do they have a fine assortment of beer to chose from, but their pizza is delicious. very thin crust and an assortment of toppings (some unusual choices, chorizo anyone?) to suit your palette. my only caveat about this place is that it can fill up quickly on weekend nights and it can be hard to find a table. you have to do the vulture circling and then swoop down when a spot opens up.

been here 3 times now. good beer selection except yes, they do run out and don't update the board. appetizers are tastey but small for the price. yes, even on the cheese pizza they scrimp on the toppings. last time we were there we gathered for a party with five girls. we spent over $100.00 on appetizers and pizzas not including the beers we ordered. when we slowed down ordering beers the wait staff were really rude since they wanted to flip the table. everyone in our group was really uncomfortable so we finally just left. i don't know if i'll be going back. too many other great brew pubs in np and south park if blind lady isn't going to kick it up a notch and give more value and service. oh, it was really loud and hard to hear our big group.
