i had tasha's bbq trio sampler it includes three sandwiches including pulled pork, choped beef brisket, pulled chicken on a french roll with a side of coleslaw. all of their meats are marinated in their own barbecue sauce. and they were all tender and tasted great. their prices are good for the large amount of meat you get. so i will come here again whatever i'm near them & want great barbecue!

simply put. damn good q! nothing fancy, no fake antiques, no big country barn appearance . just damn good q! i had the rib and sausage platter with slaw and beans and walked away full and happy. it was very tasty and the staff was super friendly. if i lived in the area i'd go there more often.

just sensational bbq in the anaheim area. loved that it produced such good food from a very neat industrial estate area. has the plate with brisket pork ribs and beef ribs. omg the pork was awesome. didn't rate the mac and cheese though. beans were great. staff were excellent to us and our kids as well.

my husband and i went to this place because if all the good reviews. we went around 2pm in a sunday and the girl at the cashier looked like she was forced to do her job. the place itself was pretty cozy and they have tvs. we didn't have to wait too long for our food to come out. the best part was the garlic bread and the bbq sauce. perhaps i'm too picky with my bbq but it did not taste fresh. like i was eating yesterdays leftovers. paid $35 for something i wouldnt pay over $20 for. if the place was cheaper then its ok. for the price point i expected more.

definitely one of the best independent bbq places in oc.  they do a lot of sandwich business as they are located in an industrial area and do a big lunch business.  the sandwich sample is a good deal as you get 3 smaller sandwiches with 3 different meats.  even the salads are solid.

a family dinner is always a good thing and a family dinner at blake's place bbq cafe is an even better thing. i can remember when i used to work for my dad delivering print jobs i would always drive by blake's place and wonder how the food was, last week i finally got the chance to try it out. my daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese kids meal, my son ordered beef ribs and pulled chicken, my wife ordered baby back ribs and chopped beef brisket, i order smoked sausage, pulled pork and beef brisket. with drinks, the meal was about $50.   my daughter liked the mac and cheese because it was "super cheesy", her words. she also devoured her french fries, this girl loves her french fries. my son said the beef ribs were good and he liked the bbq sauce used on them. he also said the mac and cheese was really good and that he liked the pulled chicken.   my wife said her ribs were tender and pulled off

seems weird to call this place a cafe as the name states it to be. it's a barbecue joint - why would you call it a cafe? anyhow, i came across here when i needed to get dinner really quick before going to see a movie with duc . we found out that it is literally down the street from where i work so we stopped by based off of yelp reviews. it had a nice atmosphere to it. i didn't have my camera with me so used my phone for my snap of our plate (sorry for the poor quality). we shared a plate of the beef ribs and pulled pork which came with sides of coleslaw and baked beans. typical barbecue fare indeed! it came with yummy garlic bread. i found the pulled pork to be pretty decent and the sides good, especially the baked beans. as for the ribs themselves, i haven't had beef ribs before so i don't know if it was because it was beef or just because of the cooking b

a little out of the way but worth the search. blake's is certainly not the greatest bbq around, but it is certainly great. they're doing something right over there since they've been open since the late 80s. the bbq here is smoked low and slow and all meats are seasoned well so what you get is a quality product that will keep you coming back (like me.)

the meats are all well seasoned and cooked, tender, juicy, and fall off the bone (if there is one of course!)

they have combo platters as well as sandwiches and salads so something for everyone.

they have many types of homemade sauces to add to your dish if you like.

service is impeccable and more often than not the owner or one of the managers will come to your table to receive feedback (my guess is that it will be positive!)

i have always managed to find parking in this industrial location and i'm confident you will too!

in 1987, gene hobel graduated from the culinary institute of san francisco and started working in numerous restaurants. but his dream to open his own restaurant was not too far away. in 1996, gene hobel was looking to buy a sandwich shop. long story short, he decided to go with something completely different. after careful thought, he bought an in-house smoker and blake's place (named after his son) became a bbq haven. within 6 months, he got a call to cook on ktla. after that, folks were driving in from as far as los angeles to try his bbq. since then, blake's place has expanded their dining room and now has smokers running 24/7 to feed their hungry customers and cater large events. smoked meat rib plate is served with sides of bbq beans, cole slaw, and garlic bread. the beef ribs were tender, yet you feel your carnivorous side come out while you're ripping the meat from the bone. you can just hear tim allen making his manly sounds on home improvement! makes you feel alive! the bbq be

one in a while, you come across a bbq spot that that really hits the spot. a good bbq restaurant is hard to find. checking my best friend yelp, i found this blake's place, literally off the grid. located in the industrial parts of anaheim, they are hard to find. you wouldn't even think there would be a restaurant within a few blocks from there. but once you get there and try the food, you will be glad you found it. walking in, i had a good feeling about this place. not only did i see the catering trucks outside, there were a few police officers enjoying a meal. you know if the police eat there, it has to be good food. i read many good things about the blake's pulled pork pile. once it came out, my mouth dropped to the floor. this thing was huge. as they say, you definitely need napkins for this one. the pork was not dry at all. most pulled pork i tried was overly sauced because the meat was so dry. blake does the pulled pork right. the cole slaw gave it a nice crunch and the red onion

great bbq!. this is deffinitly one of the better bbq places in orange county. i ordered the pulled pork plate with baked beans and mac and cheese and a plate of onion rings for the table. the portions were very generous and everything tasted great. i also really liked the bbq sauce, it was tangy and not to sweet. i will deffinitly be going back again and again.
