découverte merveilleuse!!!. ce fut une agréable découverte que nous avons fait lors de notre séjour en outaouais. nous avons choisi 5 tapas recommandés par notre serveuse et ce fut un vrai délice. les recettes sont bien travaillées, à la fois complètes et savoureuses, nous nous sommes régalés du début à la fin. le personnel bien sympathique nous a agréablement conseillé d'autres bonnes adresses du coin. bref, jolie terrasse, très bonne bouffe, personnel agréable... endroit à découvrir !!!

monday long weekend lunch and blown away by how amazing it was. the cocktails were delicious and one had marshmallows as garnish...yum, never take that off your menu! food was pretty and colorful, you couldn't ask for more.

super petit bistro!. situé sur la rue laval dans le vieux-hull, joli petit bistro chaleureux avec superbe terrasse. personnel courtois, menu simple mais très savoureux! excellente sélection de tapas, parfait pour une soirée entre amis!

i’ve been to the coq licorne bistro on several occasions (brunch, lunch and dinner). other than some mixed up with our orders during brunch, which was resolved in a professional manner, every other meal was tasty and satisfying. great for work lunches and little group dinners, i really appreciate the cozy ambiance this little bistro offers. in addition, the courtyard is beautiful in the summer time.

super bon resto!! bonne nourriture, bon service et bonne ambiance. nous étions un groupe de 9 et ça a été très rapide. quand j'ai appelé pour prendre des informations et faire la réservations la personne au téléphone était super gentille. elle me parlait même des différentes options de resto dans le coin. on y retournera!!

essayé le burger du chef. excellent! salade caesar étais bonne mais avais p-e juste un peux trop de sauce. la biere étais très bonne. j'ai pris la stout. je recommande fortement. petit resto sympatique avec un excellent service.

it is my third visit here and ive never been disappointed. food is nice, service is friendly. their valentine menu is a huge hit for both myself and the hubby. will be back for sure.

we decided to try bistro coqlicorne - had heard good things but every time i tried to get a reservation, they were full up. on three separate occasions, calling for a reservation, even before i could ask if they had a spot - "sorry, no availability tonight." to the point that i thought, perhaps if i requested a spot en français? it became the elusive reservation - like the mythical rooster/unicorn immortalized in the name of this cozy little resto.

un endroit a faire un detour pour aller manger et boire! a++

glad we didn't let one rude person put us off. great place - our waiter (wish i had gotten his name) was personality and service plus. the tapas was exceptional - a fish cake with more fish than filler, how rare is that? several people have mentioned that the portions were small but my companion and i found them just right. and the wine recommendation was right on. again thanks to our waiter.

unfortunately the hostess was a bit of a turn off... they appeared to only have a table in smoking but we said that we would take it. as we sat down i notice a table being vacated in the non-smoking area and ask her if we could move there - she rudely snarled - and i mean snarled - that it was reserved and two minutes later showed two people to the table who obviously had not had reservations. fortunately we didn't let that stop us from sticking around for the great food and excellent service.

bistro coqlicorne poutine is the lightest and healthiest of all the poutines. it consists of 3 polenta patties, merguez sausage coated with a curry apricot sauce with a few coriander leaves.

excellent food!!!. the food is absolutely amazing! we had tapas and a sandwich and it was so good we had to have seconds! tapas are not big nor filling so you need to order a lot. great restaurant!

tapas was delicious. excellent service. unfortunately the protein portions of the four main dishes our group ordered where unacceptably small. furthermore, the caesar salad was extremely bland.

slow service waited 15 minutes to be greated at the door and didnt received any of m'y order it was 12:50 and no food appeared so i tried to find staff that i had to leave but no one around never will go back there they néed to get customer service trained.

:) !!. super resto ! c'est charmant et sans prétention. la bouffe est juste bien et il y a une bonne sélection dans la carte des bières et alcools. service cordial et sympathique sans flafla. belle ambiance dans un p'tit resto accueillant et charmant.
