biryani bowl

we had take out today during lunch hour. we ordered shrimp biryani, paneer pasand and naan. shrimp biryani was bland and did not look like biryani to me, rice quantity was decent but too few pieces of shrimp. paneer pasand was good, paneer was soft and fresh and a bit sweet. naan was dry and did not appear fresh( though ours is take out order)

this is a small place, looked clean and simple.

went for dinner with friends.

after a very long discussion over the place finally, it was the biryani bowl.

it is a small place, that's all i can say about the ambiance.

we ordered chicken chettinad and nawabi chicken along with garlic naan.
last thing to be ordered was something for which all of as were actually craving, it was the mutton dum biryani.

talking about the taste chicken chettinad was excellent, i would rather say it was one of the best chicken curry i have had in fremont. surprisingly, it went extremely well with the garlic naan. the next was nawabi chicken, a north indian chicken dish, it had tender chicken pieces and dry fruits, what else do you want.

finally the most awaited dish arrived, the mutton biriyani. just one word awesome. it was served with raita, salan(curry) and fried chicken pieces. i have had chicken and mutton biriyani over different places in fremont. however, the quality i was looking for, this place has it all.

i can not comment over vegetarian dishes, but for non vegetarians this place is a must visit.

bad biryani !!. this is the first time i am writing a bad review for some restaurant.i had veg biryani and it was just blant and almost looked like plain rice mixed with some vegetables.unfortunately it was so bad that i cudnt even eat it though i was very hungry .sad but this place has the worst biryani i hav ever had in my entire life .plz dont ever hav veg biryani here .

authentic hydrabadi biryani. this is one of the best places to have authentic hydrabadi biryani in us. i had hydrabadi biryani at famous places in new jersey, chicago, dallas and many other cities but nothing compares to biryani bowl. they make biryani in real authentic hydrabadi style. i have not tried other items on their menu so i cant vouch for them. go here to have some biryani.
