one more thing.... i forgot to mention the tea....it is soooo good. there is a place in rockwall called sterling tea and they have the best tea!! bin 303 serves strawberry hibiscus tea and i just love it!!!
did i mention that bin 303 has amazing food? we met the chef, who trained in new york, and he is on his way...maybe he will end up on food network!!! this is a terrific restaurant!

great meal!. went to bin 303 tonight and had a wonderful time with my seven most favorite people. great way to go to a restaurant you have not been to so you can try everything.
we had several appetizers, the dip trio and the sliders were delicious. i tried the filet, the pork tenderloin and the fish and they were all exceptional.
the wait staff really took care of our table and we are a demanding bunch.
i can see why this place was packed because it was excellent!! the manager, possibly owner, made outstanding wine choices for our table and we were so pleased. dessert was to die for! many restaurants have trouble doing everything well but this place did it all. we will be going back again and again!!!

fabulous!!!. our family loves bin 303!!! we have had everything on the menu and it is all great!
the hamburgers are the best burgers i have ever had! (new york city and vail colorado have some really good burgers but not as good as bin 303.)
i love the hummus, the crispy chicken salad, shrimp flautas are amazing!! the fish and steaks are awesome!
lunch is nice with well priced specials. brunch is my favorite...the banana nut french toast and the egg quesadillas are our personal favorites (the salsa for the quesadillas is the best!!)
we love bin 303 so much that we don't even cook anymore, why should we? we are so happy to have this amazing restaurant in rockwall.
the service is always terrific! very attentive and knowledgeable staff. great wine list...the wine is always at the perfect temperature. perfectly spicy bloody marys are nice at brunch.

a few bad apples......... i've eaten at bin 303 several times, more than i can count. i live in the area and enjoy the ambiance, the food and the drinks. i enjoy many of the entrees that bin offers. chef mat in my opinion is top notch in his preparation and desire for you to have a great meal. i will enjoy continuing to watch this place and its proprietors grow in rockwall and wish them the best of luck. i would like to add that the negative reviews posted about bin are the opinions of those individuals. we've all had bad experiences at places we frequent in our town. it is unfortunate that one bad apple has tried to spoil the whole bunch. i challenge you to try bin for yourself. the food is good, the service is attentive, and the wine is served at the appropriate temperature. best of luck bin.

overrated. do not waste your money or your palate here.

the attitude of the staff and even the owner is that you, as the patron, are lucky to be dining here. they have a small group of regulars who probably have ok experiences here but if you are new, forget it.

my friend and i actually walked out after being treated unbelievably rudely by the hostess and the bartender. we will never go back. after we left, we went to a venue that is around the corner and our waiter overheard us talking about this bad experience - they said that they hear this sort of thing about bin 303 every day.

apparently the only thing keeping this place afloat is the chef - who is great. but unfortunately if they ever lose him - they'll probably lose the entire business due to extremely poor management.

there are at least three or four other restaurants within walking distance that are much better than this place. don't even bother.

service and staff are lacking. unfortunately the service and staff do not match the ambiance of the restaurant itself. extremely aloof personnel made our experience very unpleasant. i was here with my daughter for an important occasion, but the staff really ruined what could have been a lovely experience.

the bad apple is at the restaurant. agreed, you may have a great experience and love the food (granted, the ambiance is nice) - i was just trying to tell everyone about how i was treated on this specific visit. i don't like to spend a fair amount of money on a meal to be insulted. your mileage may vary. and you are *still* arguing about the serving temperature of red wine. not helping.

you won't win this fight!!. not sure why my negative (but truthful!) review was deleted, but i am investigating. this has only encouraged me to post on other sites, blogs, facebook pages or anywhere else i can find to let people know how badly i was treated to serve as fair warning to stay away. the fact someone is trying to censor opinion speaks volumes! maybe the level 2 sommelier is still bitter about failing to accomplish an advanced certification and makes herself feel better by talking down to the patrons.

not sure why all the negative reviews! this place was great!! friendly atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, great food. old converted house into restaurant, very neat little place. highly recommend! it is a little pricey, but worth every penny. as another review stated, "don't let those negative reviews steer you away from this place!" try it for yourself and make that decision on your own. two in my party and we all loved the food.

this place is one of my favorites in the country. great neighborhood place that serves amazing food and wine. the staff is friendly and accommodating. please disregard some of the previous negative post, i was there that night and was appalled by the lack of decorum displayed by the angry, petty couple who left the earlier "ambush" reviews. check this place out and draw your own opinion, you will not be disappointed. in closing, i got a preview of the summer menu today and i am sure you need to make reservation further out than 45 minutes than the culinary assassins who posted earlier.

service not ok. so, we had heard that the food was really great here and decided to give it a try. we live in rockwall but usually dine out in dallas since that's where we work and the options are better. but, we really wanted to start trying places around here so..........we gave it a shot.

unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience. we had been at a golf tournament in ft. worth all day and were wanting to have a nice relaxing dinner closer to home, since we wanted to have a nice bottle of wine and not worry about driving an hour home. we were also tired and sweaty from being outside all day.

basically, we could have dined out anywhere between ft. worth and rockwall but we chose this place. we called at 7pm and asked how long the wait was, if we needed reservations, etc. and the hostess told us that she would put us on the list. we arrive around 7:45 and were told that there was one couple ahead of us and that it would be between 10-30 minutes.
as we sat in the bar waiting for our table, and for 40 minutes, we watched the hostess seat 4 different couples. finally, when i approached her to ask why this was occurring - i was pretty angry - she walked over to the bartender and spoke to him.
several minutes later, another hostess walked over to us and announced that all of those people had reservations a week in advance, (in rockwall, seriously?) at that point, we were flabbergasted and asked for the manager.
the next thing we know is the owner, a petite brunette, comes flying around the corner telling us pointedly that "first of all, no one speaks to my staff like that, you can't be rude to them."
we calmly proceeded to tell her what had occurred and after a few minutes, she made no attempt to reconcile the situation or apologize so we left.
also, while we were waiting for our table - said hostess asked my boyfriend to give her his chair so she could stand on it to wipe condensation off of the ac vent. (???)
when we told the owner this, she said, "yeah, i told her to do that."
we left and unfortunately will not ever return.
this was the most unbelievably terrible experience we've ever had at a restaurant.

best restaurant in rockwall! tuesday burger night is our favorite night to go and get their bin burger. they also have amazing strawberry mojitos. our favorite entree is the shrimp and grits :) great service

loved this place!. i live in dallas and thought this night was going to be awful....dinner in rockwall...i was surprised to find this quaint house with wood floors and ambiance! the staff was as delightful as the decor and the food was even better!
i have never been on one of these sites before but thought this was a spot that needed to be commented on.
everything was delicious from beginning to end. you folks in rockwall are lucky to have such a nice neighborhood restaurant. i felt like i was at the cape at a local place that was divine...i will come back all the way to rockwall. maybe we could talk the chef into coming to dallas once a week!! wonderful evening with friends and great food. thanks!

enjoy a tornado whirlwind of texas-sized flavors and ingredients at bin 303.

we went here for a special occasion. the staff was friendly and it was very clean. we loved learning the history of the restaurant from our waitress. the prices seemed a little more pricey for the salad that i got, but it was still very good.

bin303. the food was good but the prices went up and they were already expensive. i was very upset the server did not bring any ones back to tip him 20% only brought $5.00's. so he got a $10 tip on $38.00 bill. i was upset how he did this on purpose. took forever to bring my change when i could see he was just over there stalling.

exceptional meal topped by superb service.
