big joe's pizza & pasta

i love the pepperoni pizza rolls, and pretty much everything else. sooo good!!!

have some tears with your lunch!. i have been eating at the beach st big joes since they opened, to say that i miss joe & mario & the sweet
father is a understatement, the food is still good but the uncle is not a nice person. i went in 5/12/14 to get my
order & a pepsi i have always carried my 52 oz six hour mug with me and filled it with ice to the top then i would put some soda it holds about 25oz with all the ice, uncle screamed at me and called me a thief in front of all the other
customers he said i ripped them off for three sodas i fill my cup because i like to eat all the ice after i have my soda. no one has ever said anything to me until today and the way he did it in front of all the other customers
was so wrong. i save to take my self to a special place for a great lunch at least once a month but today was a total waste of money tried to eat but all i could do was cry. joe & i used to talk about baking the beautiful cakes.

went there last wednesday ordered the philly cheesesteak i thought it was very good the steak had a deep hearty meaty roast flavor. the cheese was the perfect complement of the spices were excellent. the bread was what stood out apart. it was very soft but still had enough texture to it to hold up to the moist beef and melty cheese without getting soggy at all. it was so good i went back the next day and ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich at their suggestion. not normally a fan of the sandwich, but this one was again extremely good. the same awesome bread within was a well seasoned and will cooked medium-size sliced fried chicken cutlet with the perfect marinara sauce and cheese. it was fantastic. the sandwiches are very big. they are well worth the money; about six bucks or so for a large sandwich was more than i can eat. as a matter of fact i ate both halves each of the following days; they were still excellent. saw some reviews about the owners or workers being rude. i can see that maybe they could've been construed as being grouchy. but i found them to be nothing more than professionally polite and efficient. i was only in town for a couple days but if i'm in that area again i will definitely go back and try some of their other things. i'm not sure whether they are a chain regional chain or just a few local stores, but i like their food hope you enjoy it too. by the way sometimes you can tell a little about the food by the other clientele. i saw lots of big men in there eating. i can see why now. lol

if your looking for some great classic ny style hand tossed pizza, the xl pepperoni is worth every penny!

great!! have had the chicken alfredo and chicken parmisian and both were tasty! friendly too.

xl pizza is enough to feed an army. salads are huge- house dressing is traditional tomato vinaigrette. spinach pinwheel rocked my face off. uggh- i'm stuffed!

huge pizza. their pizza is huge if you get the extra large and it does not cost an arm and a leg. out the door for a supreme your looking at around 17 bucks. hope this helps!

sooooo good!!! don't skip this place!. wow-this place is delicious. the staff don't seem very friendly, but they are just a little rough around the edges-super nice deep down.
