not the same anymore..... used to be a frequent customer. no longer. paulie sold the place and it is not the same. the orders were messed up, the food cold, and the delivery was rude. we'll never buy from there again. called to speak with the owner and he isn't there. management is only there for a small period of time. not worth the aggravation for the hard-earned money we're paying.

review. this pizza is industrial strength awful,but it was slightly better than tony's frozen pizza. i especially enjoyed the rubber mushrooms that they use as a topping.

big fat paulie’s in south buffalo was a last minute decision to add to our list. i had heard little about it, but what i had heard sounded good…

got a sandwich with 3 different meats on it toasted. meat was cold and tasted like it was sitting on the grill all day, like it was cooked hours ago. was not happy and will not be going back ever again.

this pizza is the best in buffalo. the pizza is same quality ingredients as every other pizzaria but they don't charge out the ass. the staff is nice and food is great and they have the best cheeseburger subs take it from me!

very cheap food but you get what you pay for. not horrible quality but doesn't exceed "okay" quality

delicious!!. this is one of the best pizza places in s. buffalo! the prices are incredible and the food is simply superb! i highly recommend it to anyone.. oh and the staff is great and delivery always prompt! two big thumbs up!

yummmmmmmmmmm.... so, i've lived in the city my whole life, until being recently banished to the sad underbelly that is south buffalo... adjusting to my new surroundings was difficult enough with everything closing by 10p (if not earlier), but not being able to find good pizza made my situation even worse.
like, yeah, there is imperial, abbott, jo-jo's, and a number of other pizza joints around here, but they all kind of suck. they all seem to use sauce that tastes like straight tomato paste, besides the rest of the ingredients being pretty bland, or the crust being weird/not thoroughly baked. i find these things upsetting.
anyway, i was craving pizza again and decided to google my options, instead of wasting my money on pizza that i knew would be unsatisfying, and this is how i came to find big fat paulie's (bigfatpauliespizza.com).
like, even the guy that answered the phone was nice, and i felt like he really paid attention because i didn't have to repeat myself a million times like some other places. i ordered a large cheese and pepperoni pizza, it arrived at my door in about 40 minutes, and it was only $12.50. of course, it was a little more after i tipped the driver, but so what? the pizza was still only $12.50... anyway, i ran back up the stairs with my pizza and as soon as i opened the box, i knew it was going to be pure pizza magic. i could smell that they use actual pizza sauce, the pepperoni was cupped with the edges lightly charred, the cheese was all shiny and melty, and the crust was a color that says 'i am perfectly baked'... and thank my lucky stars, it tasted as good as it looked.
i will definitely be ordering from big fat paulie's whenever i am overcome with the need for pizza. i really hope everything on their menu is this good.

as far as pizza goes, if you get anything other than cheese or cheese & pepperoni, you will probably be disappointed, i def. have been.

love it!. they have the best food and are alot cheaper than most pizzarias around here.i am their #1 fan of their secret recipe for chicken fingers sauce.i am seriously addicted!i just wish they were open later during weekdays when i get the cravings.b/c i order from other places and am so dissapointed.oh and the sweet potato fries are awesome too!
