the best!!!. i was watching a segment on channel 11 news this past saturday morning of the best bbq in the twin cities area. i could not believe big daddy's bbq was not in the running up!!! this place is the best....you hear me the best bbq minnesota has to offer. i live in minneapolis close to 2 bbq joints but i will drive to st. paul just for their ribs. there are so tender just fall off the bone and the hickory smoke taste and the sauce is so good!!! i actually gave away my large webber because it's easy for me to go buy ribs than to cook. that's what i do, go to "big daddy's" for the best ribs!!!!!

delish bbq. good prices, not a huge seating area, but who cares if the food is good. the area they do have is nice and clean and good for people/street watching. highly recommend.

i was surprised at just how quickly our food was ready for take out. all of the food had been prepared ahead of time so as soon as i ordered, my food was ready less than a minute later. overall impression: big daddy’s offers quick and friendly service with tasty, quality bbq.

top three for sure. i've made a point of visiting almost every bbq joint in town and quite a few out of state as well. while the twin cities ain't exactly lockhart tx, big daddy's is one of the best in the twin cities. i had the rib tips and they were like eating candy, i just couldn't stop. tried the ribs too. they were good, but not as good as the tips in my opinion. the only downside is they have rather limited hours and virtually no seating.

big daddy is not good. the ribs are so so, kind of dry. the cashier unbelievably tried to overcharge money.

amazing food for the price! their pork ribs and pulled pork sandwich is delicious haven't found a better place for them . meat falls right off the bone.

the best bbq in the upper midwest. not exactly a restaurant. more like a couple magical smokers in a parking lot and a cash register inside. but that's all they need. only open for about 5 hours on saturdays starting at 11am.

yum yum. can't believe i've been driving right by this place sat mornings and never gave them a try. a foodie friend kept telling me they were the best. friendly staff and great ribs, best ever had in mn and compare to the best ive had in kc.

stopped just after they opened at 11am, no line and smelled so good, took ribs home. was very happily greeted! made mistake of not getting sides, foodie friend thinks they are great

seriously!?. i can't believe nobody has reviewed this place yet. these guys are amazing, and they cater! mouth-watering food, great staff. prices par for the quality. i'd live there if they'd let me, but then i'd also force them to be open seven days a week. tell gene bobbi says hey!
