this restaurant was soooooo good and taste was so good

visited this place with anwesha das during our stay in hotel ganga azure, while we were visiting haridwar-rishikesh. its very near to the railway station (just opposite). nice and soothing ambiance with soft bollywood music playing in the background. we were searching for some good places to eat, and after some going around decided to have dinner here. the first thing to notice was the polite and humble demeanour of the staff there. they’ll welcome you with smiling face and the order won’t take much.

we ordered roti, daal, alu gobi, baingan bharta, chowmean, plain rice etc. the quality of rice and aroma was awesome. in fact it was real dehradun rice. taste of alu gobi was great as well. in fact, each and every item was perfect. we visited here 2-3 times while our stay at ganga azure, haridwar. i would strongly recommend to visit here at least once while your stay in haridwar.

servicing and food was good .1st serving of veg chowmein was amazing but 4 stars because of 2nd serving ,it was a bit too salty. overall experience was great. staff was also polite

i had dinner in bigben haridwar while visiting haridwar with my husband. we liked the rating & reviews of this hotel so decided to try. the food was good however the managerment was were misbehaving. they were treating us not like guests but as if they had too much trouble serving us. it was hot so we asked him to switch on ac to which he said "itne log nahi hain ki ac chala de". to top it all up, he gave us kacha bill and once we paid, he took that bill too & never gave back. i myself being owner of a restaurant, completely sympathize with the owner hotel....

we visited big ben last night on a whim , it turned out to be quite nice ;
the ambiance was ok, the place could do with a bit more cleaning
the food tasted great ! loved the paranthas and cucumber raita
the “veg chowmein” was floating in oil though so i would not recommend that

while eating paranthas, a small piece of coal did come in my mouth, but i am giving them the benefit of the doubt and not considering this in my review.
