pork sandwich was amazing. sauces were also very good. service was quick and food was excellent. just enough food for me and the mrs. def come here again!!!

small resturant front that does lots of catering. food is all great. specializing in the smokehouse flavor as name says. good size portions. owners and staff are very friendly and personal. smoked prime rib is like nothing i have had before. tender juicy meat with the smoke flavor. don't leave without a dessert. love the chocolate fudge pie. just stop in, you will not be disappointed.

good flavors / poor service. food has good flavors. very smoky. service very poor. half way thru salads before drinks showed up. had to ask for refills. never offered dessert. was wanting to try it btw.

good food, hidden away in plain sight! nice folks cooking good bar b que, what's not to like?

this is hands down the best bbq around. one of my favorites of all time. good thing i live so close.

there is no better place to eat in mt juliet. if you are looking for somewhere to go out to eat - you have now found it! i have eaten there a number of times over the past few years and there is nothing that is bad on their menu.

order the peanut butter pie for dessert!!!! trust me on this

awesome. i've lived in mtj for more than three years and somehow completely missed this place until a couple of weeks ago. it was absolutely awesome. i highly recommend. the bbq is great, and the club sandwich is unbelievably good.

delicious! you gotta try their food. we were driving through and found the restaurant on urbanspoon. 40 votes and 40 likes. no brainer. my wife and three daughters each had the pork sandwich, my oldest son and i had brisket sandwiches and my youngest son had the prime robe sandwich. all of it was melt in your mouth good. everyone wants to stop back when we come back through.

my prime rib sandwich was gut-bustingly huge. i added in sautéed mushrooms for a little extra. the sandwich was so loaded with fillings and was so moist that i had to eat it with fork and knife, or else it would fall apart. au jus for dipping didn't work too well because of that. i don't know what possessed me to eat all of that in one sitting...... probably because it was tasty as hell. i'll probably order something lighter on next visit.

if your reading this and order a big sandwich like that, for the love of god, ask for more napkins!

been visiting this place since they opened. don't let the outside scare you off as this is the best food in mj. the owners and the staff are great. i've tried almost everything and loved almost all of it, and when i didn't they did everything in their power to keep us happy. i shouldn't say how good it is because that will just mean more people, but they deserve the recognition. go one night in march and you might run into my wife, daughter, and me all dressed up eating at the wolf because that was what she wanted for her birthday!

ate at big bad wolf last saturday as part of a youth travel baseball team and their parents. our group of 20 descended upon the restaurant, unannounced, but we were seated quickly and were always treated in a friendly and courteous manner.

several of our group ordered the pork bbq plate and it was enjoyed by all. the meat was succulent and smoky, and both sauces, regular and hot, were zesty and delicious.

i ordered a chicken breast stuffed w/a delicious berry stuffing and it, too, was very tasty.

several of our group felt that the very best thing we ate was the potato gratin, their signature side dish. one of the best potato dishes i have ever tasted!

i happened to find big bad wolf smokehouse on urbanspoon and it turned out to be everything you'd expect of a place that at the time had 100% "likes". i will add my own southern-bbq-authority "like" !
