life long bert hotdog fan. i'm 59 years old and as long as i can remember my mom and dad always stopped at bert's on the way down to wv. it became more of a family tradition as all 5 of us kids have been taking our families to bert's also. mom and dad have passed, but everytime we go by bert's dog house there is a lot of good memories. thank you.

the best dogs. this place is not much to look at, but they are hands down the best hot dogs i've ever had. get your foot long with everything and cheese. you can't beat it. the culmination of all the flavors in your mouth from that homemade chili to the warmed bun, and the perfect texture dog. it's bliss.

one out of every three people south of pittsburgh know about bert's. if you drive the back way (rt 18) towards burghettstown, you will hit bert's. the place is tiny...they have a few picnic tables outside to eat at, unless you chow down in your vehicle. i don't know what they do to their hotdogs but, they are great. that's coming from a gal that's doesn't really care for hotdogs. i don't know how this place is still standing. a good snow storm should take this little shack out. hope the people here keep doing what their doing, because the foot long dogs are yummy!

better when you're drunk and starving. my wife brought these dogs home a few months ago when i was 3 sheets to the wind after watching a pirates game. at the time, i would have sworn they were the greatest hot dogs ever created. in hindsight, i must have just had the munchies. we went there yesterday with the whole family and my chili cheese dogs were gross. my wife loved it and said she has since she was a kid. pricing was a little steep and food is mediocre in my opinion but the wife says they are the best so i guess it is hit or miss.

great little roadside gem. i found bert's while driving on rt. 18. it looks like an old shack, but in fact it's one of my favorite hotdog joints. fair prices and good food. anytime i'm near bert's i gotta stop for a dog, or 2. foodfather approved
