i stopped by here as i was at the rideau centre shopping. it’s definitely a messy eat... but they have different varieties! i had their tofu (vegan) burrito... it’s like a big sushi hand roll basically. it was decent, a little overly priced in my opinion and overrated.

great sushi, sashimi, etc. all for slightly more than that weird grocery store stuff. don't let the name "bento sushi" scare you off; this isn't the chain of such-named restaurants but a much better, hole-in-the-wall local spot. i've had many different dishes from here and never regretted it in the slightest.

great find!! i would not have found this place if it had not been for urbanspoon. the sushi tasted great and the owner/chef is really friendly- i think it was the only sushi place i had been to that surprised me with an extra complimentary maki piece. ordered the "midnight sun" roll, very tasty and the individual maki pieces appeared to have been lightly grilled. would recommend and will return next time i'm in the area.

the sushi here is great! the owner/ sushi chef is knowledgable, friendly and has excellent customer service.
the store is unassuming, tucked in a strip mall, but the sushi is fantastic. i will be a repeat customer!

kind sushi. if this is the place next to the mukutalways restaurant, then yes, kind please easy food choices that are healthy and not too crazy for a newbie to sushi. they will make you what you want fresh. like it.

good delivery sushi. we had the sushi delivered and we weren't disappointed. they called to tell us our online order wasn't available, and offered to switch it to something else. considering it was delivered, it was still very tasty. i wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to a friend.

hidden gem. this place is a great little sushi bar. owned and operated by this young-ish korean guy. the menu is somewhat basic but really delicious. my friends and i decided to drop by some time for lunch and keep coming back! in case you would wonder, it has nothing to do with the bento you see in the grocery stores. lol

uncomplicated but for real. dont be put off by the simple decor and no nonsense servidce. the food is great.
