the best pizza. always friendly service. definitely a restaurant to visit. i'd recommend making a reservation, as it is very popular and tends to be full. it's absolutely delicious!!!

with a lot of family and friends living in bloemfontein, i've heard a lot of people talking about bella casa - so finally we managed to check it out!

and i was honestly pleasantly surprised!  the service, variety of menu items and wine list was really quite impressive!  the option to have a large selection of wine by the glass makes pairing the wine with whatever you decide to order, must more of an adventure.  so a big thumbs up!

and i was also thrilled to see the italian favourite, the aperol spritz, on the menu!  oh yay, the ideal way to kick off a hearty carb-heavy feast!

i ordered, what proved to be the best pizza i had this year to date – with bacon, blue cheese, poached pear, rocket and pecan-nut brittle!  oh my goodness – what a taste sensation!  it is now almost a month later and i still dream about that first delicious bite!  a fantastic combination of flavours and texture.

hubby had the seafood pasta and loved it!

bella casa is a real gem, from the casual ‘make you feel right at home’ decor to the bursts of flavour and colour – i can’t wait to go back! well done guys!

this is the best restaurant i’ve been to in bloemfontein - pizzas are generously topped, the pasta is delicious, and the service is great. recommended.

exceeded all expectations. food was excellent and reasonably priced.

already made reservations for next week when i'm back in bloem again. nb: booking is very essential - i was lucky to get a table at 18:00.

polite staff, a breathe of fresh air and a lovely place to unwind.

must go to restaurant in bloemfontein for lovers of italian food. small and homey. great wine list, with “wine of the month” and pairing options. pasta is lovely. really great value for money.

a hidden gem! the best italian i’ve had in years! pizza was thin, crispy and generous (paired with the most delicious sangria)! hubby had the black beast steak which he devoured! everything was delicious but the coffee needs some serious attention. after a fantastic meal, a great coffee is required (constructive criticism). all in all a great spot, great vibe and decor and very friendly staff. can’t wait to go back! #coffeecheck

the most amazing pizza (bbc - brie, bacon, and cranberry sauce topped with rocket). grouped it with a bloem-weis from stellar brewery. the great ambiance is also complimented with a decent selection of wines and cocktails.

excellent choice of restaurant in bloemfontein. the food is superb and staff are friendly and helpful. when we booked there was only an outside table, but knowing we wanted to sit inside they remembered and placed us indoors once we arrived. i found the pizza base slightly too hard. i prefer a softer crust. the poached pears in red wine sauce were sublime!

we had dinner here last night with family & such a lovely place. being from cape town we are spoilt for choice but this restaurant is much better than many places here. i had the oxtail special, and it was absolutely delicious. the rest of our table had pizza & pasta which looked equally delicious. the decor is also quite unique, with different themes in each room of the restaurant. there is also a lovely fireplace in one of the rooms. outside also looked pretty cosy. the restaurant was full and apparently booking is recommended over weekends especially. if i am ever in bloemfontein again, will definitely visit here again.
