belgian waffle & steakhouse

been eating here for over 25 years. i have been eating breakfast here off and on for the last 25 years. never had a bad experience here, the food is consistently good. the service is always friendly, this is a fair sized restaurant that can handle small groups, there are booths and a dinner style bar setting up front and tables in the rear. kinda has the old time diner feel. they have some really good belgian waffles with all of the toppings but i tend to stick with the french toast with blueberries. if you are looking for a nice breakfast and are in the area, i definitely recommend checking them out.

their breakfast skillets are to die for!!! and so are their biscuits and gravy!!

the food is great, it's clean and the staff is friendly. the iced tea is excellent! the only negative thing i can say is that they serve coke instead of pepsi but some people will like that. it's not a deal breaker, like i said the ice tea is great!
10/10! we will be back!

great american diner!. i popped in here for a quick lunch. i wa sgreeted quickly. i ordered my favorite, a club sandwich, fries, and a diet coke. my server was friendly. the food was really good. the meats on my sandwich were tasty and juicy. bread was store bought but still fresh. the fries were crinkle cut but cooked perfectly. my drink was cold and tasty. the atmosphere was classic amierican diner, right dow to a cozy full length counter. if i could help them with any additions, it would be to add free wi-fi, especially with all of their facebook and qr code marketing, and t.v.'s tuned to espn and news, this place cry's out as a great quick easy spot to grab a bite. which appeals to the working person just trying to find a quick bite. it was clean, and the staff were efficient. i like belgian waffles & steakhouse. i think they do a nice job. i will be back and you should check them out too.

very nice clean and very friendly people except we have now been waiting 35 minutes for our order and the excuse is we are swamped unfourantly at the time of our order being taken they were not swamped.

and never ask them where your food is they will ignore any need you may have.

so first time and last time

the only complaint is the same small fatty and cheap steaks that are made from poor quality beef providers. this explains why a company called belgium steak & waffle has no steaks pictured anywhere. nice people but questionable meat? potato's excellent

is now under new owners (retired military).  wife, husband or son here most of time.  reasonable prices for normal food. much improved since last owner who tried his best to run it in the ground. atmosphere and cleanliness vastly improved.  food very good.  only complaint might be that waitstaff is new and still learning the ropes.

we've been eating here for the past 17 years. not only do they make you feel like family, the food is excellent, too! the restaurant was sold to a new owner and the quality went down just a little, but the friendly feel of the restaurant and shoestring budget prices kept us coming back. now there are new owners yet again, and things have improved a lot! the food tastes great, and the prices are still excellent, too! this is our favorite home cooked meal restaurant!

visited for the first time with the husband. great diner atmosphere and friendly staff, service was efficient and the food tasty! will come again!

long waiting time and subpar food.. my friend referred me to this place so i took my gf and our baby for breakfast. we waited for our food for 30+ minutes, so we started to walk out, but our server told us that the food was ready so we stayed. i enjoyed my country skillet, but my gf's eggs, pancakes and sausage lacked any flavor. as she said, it was like "microwave food".

the server was very nice and did apologize, gave us a discount, but the whole experience was very disappointing. we understand that the place is very busy on saturday morning, but no one should have to wait 30+ minutes and on top of that get sub par food. we won't be coming back.

my wife really liked this dish with one exception - the ice cream was lacking. the crust had a homemade flavor and texture. the apple filling was creamy and filled with chunks of apples. however the ice cream had ice crystals in it. still worth an overall thumbs up, but they could do lots better on the ice cream.

good food at great prices. your money goes pretty far in this spot. the service was very good both times that i dined in for brunch. the decor is circa 1980 and could stand some updating and renovating, but the place offers two dining areas and they are kid friendly.

do not eat at this place!. i posted a review at least a month ago. on another site, i said how my time there sucked. i am not from the area however when i came in with my grandmother i witness a older black women screaming at this teenage girl. however i noticed that my review was deleted when i got on here to leave another review some where else it said i had never left a review on yelp. so let me try again and then i will also post my review in other spots.

i came in because this is my grandmothers favorite place to eat however i do not see why she liked it so much. it is not that clean and the server we have was rude and more interested with flirting with the older men at her counter than giving us a refill, my grandmother at one point said that she would just get her own coffee because the server must be busy and we were right beside the coffee pot, however i told her to sit and i would get the waitresses attention, i did and she came to us with a bad attitude and said she was sorry she was busy with other people what did we need. in my opinion flirting is not more important than actually giving customers the service that they are paying for. my grandmother could have made her own breakfast and got her own coffee at home. either way, while we were in the middle of eating we watched something that i think is inexcusable and i will not be supporting a company that allows it, i saw a older black woman following behind and cursing at this teenage girl who was in tears asking her to just stop. every one there just did nothing. how do you allow bullying in your restaurant? especially to a child, the girl couldn't be no older than 16. anyways the company deleted my post obviously so now i am pretty pissed. i hope that they lose business from this cause kids commit suicide everyday because of bullying and a company shouldn't allow it.

if you want my opinion do not eat at this place. just don't do it!!!

this place is headed in a bright new direction. the new owner has a bright out look and looks to please the customers. there is. no difference in the food except it is better try them (there is hardly and day)
