i very much enjoyed my dinner at beehive cafe and i would easily return to try more of their dishes. this is a great spot to drop in for a pastry, sandwich, or even just some delicious fresh baked bread. many small towns and cities could stand to have a few more restaurants like beehive cafe to break up the monotonous landscape of chain cafes.

while the waitstaff seemed disorganized (it didnt seem they had assigned tables), lacking personality, and unidentifiable as they were wearing every day streetclothes and the decor was strange and out of place the food was amazing and although i don't grow produce therefore do not participate, i love that they have a bartering system for fresh produce to earn credits for food.

the cornbread is to die for, all of the food used in the meals i've had is incredibly fresh and flavorful.

beehive cafe is a keeper.

my first impression of the beehive cafe was that it was cute name for a cute cafe, and fitting: there is a lot of hard work going on inside a very small space. located down a side street (franklin street) close to bristol's scenic waterfront, it definitely has that authentic summer ambiance.

best breakfast sammy. had the most delicious breakfast sammy here and the side of fried chickpeas are a genius idea. kind of tough for larger crowds to dine in but we were fortunate to score the roof deck patio- who would have thought it would still be warm enough to sit outside in december!

cozy hideout. my favorite time to come here is in the winter when there is fresh snow on the ground. very cozy 2nd floor with creaky 19th century wood and fast 21st century wi-fi and view of bristol harbor. a fine and relaxing local cafe.

tiny place, but awesome! i love their granola bars, and they have a lot of interesting espresso drinks like the chai express that i am enjoying right now. i haven't eaten here yet (besides the granola bars) but i love that they have local grass fed beef on the menu!

cute little coffee & cafe spot one block off the water. love the callebaut brownies, worth schelping down to bristol for them alone. smoked salmon bltt on toasted flaxseed bread was a nice twist on the old favorite.
