beamer's 25

my burger was good, but my wife’s chicken philly was just okay. but, the tater tots were great! we were there for lunch, so we did not sample the beers or whiskeys.

a favorite of mine for sure. i love the variety, beamer's has something for everyone. i'm not a beef eater but turkey burger and portobello sandwiches are favorites for sure.

i keep trying beamer's hoping that maybe one time the outcome will be different. the service is good and quick but the food is mediocre at best. their burgers have no flavor, no matter what they put on them. the only thing that is really good is their bacon. maybe they should focus on breakfast food instead.

love the food and love the atmosphere. been here a few times already and absolutely love the burgers! i would give the service a d- though, had a lady keep chatting it up with her friends 90% of the time. asked politely for a refil(took 15 minutes for her to bring me it, she was too busy chatting..again.) acted cocky when "greeting" me at my table, then asked for a to-go box, took another 15 minutes because she was too busy watching tv with her friends that came in. good thing i wasn't in a rush anywhere, but not good for someone who would be. like i said, the food i give an a++++ but the lady who served me that time, a d-.

the rings are crispy and have a very strong onion flavor. some people might not like this, but i thought they were very good.

generic, sterile, and overpriced. if you love bow ties and hate gays this is the place for you! ;)

they have one of the yummiest burgers i've ever eaten! great service. i've had very good experiences there. if you're having a special day, then beamer's 25 is the way to go! yum yum!

like the others have said. get a beer and a burger with fanks fries. you'll be glad you did. great service.

beamers 25 hosts birthday 39. i ordered the shroom (8.50) a portobello under blue cheese, steak sauce and grilled onions with tots and negotiated with my friend to share her baltimore (12.95) a crabcake sandwich and fries. server carlos recommended fried pickles (3.25) and they were a huge success! thick crispy cornmeal batter surrounded a warm pickle. the pickles were complimented by the ipa draft. i had to defend my crispy tots from my friends' constant grabbing. i loved the understated bun, browned to perfection and thin, enabling a woman's small hand to clamp down and allowed her mouth to enjoy the taste of a quality burger and not a mouthful of bun. birthday meal was topped off with complimentary fried oreos that tasted great despite being too full to finish.
i loved that there were cloth napkins, very sophisticated! not being a football fan i was pleased to find that the walls were not blazing orange and maroon , but instead, white and grey images of frank beamer as coach and player. there appeared to be at least 10 beers on tap, 5 flat screen televisions, and a small banquet room. handsome servers and clean restrooms made this a great birthday! ask for carlos!

so good!. i had dinner for the first time at beamer's 25 last night, and everything was great. there really isn't anything close to this atmosphere anywhere else in roanoke. the drinks and food were delicious, and the beer selection even had me (a non beer drinker) tasting. the staff was helpful and attentive as well. my only complaint is that they are not open later, this would be a great spot for drinks on a saturday night. otherwise, i have found my new go to restaurant.

wonderful experience - surprise party. i hosted my boyfriend's surprise birthday party at beamer's 25 last saturday. we had a group of about 25 people. drinks, dinner, and a special vt football helmet cake (made by a slice of heaven in salem) made for a fantastic evening. the manager(s) and waitstaff were wonderful in keeping in contact with me about our party, and we had exceptional service that evening. thank you beamer's 25 for a fantastic night!

spot-on. best gourmet burger you can buy in roanoke. buffalo wings, frank's fries, crabcake, blt salad...all killer. i'm not a chocolate fan, but i hear that the fried oreos are shave-your-head good. craft drafts are awesome as are the bourbon options. great interior design and the patio rocks! patio firepit and heaters are gonna make outdoor dining last right up until it snows. everything here is spot-on.

best burgers in roanoke!!. great burgers, great beer selection and great atmosphere. if you haven't tried beamer's 25 - you really should... best new restaurant in roanoke in some time.
