bazaar - zone by the park

been here for lunch with my office colleagues and found it to be the best for the money we paid. the starters had much of varieties and we tried everything before we started our main course. they had more varieties in veg than non veg. fish curry was fab which i didn't find it tastier in any other famous restaurants.

they offer you pizza on request. desserts were served well. they will deliver you ice cream flavours if needed.

ambience was good. it's better to order the table in prior with the head count and let them know the timing as well in order to avoid late delivery. they will give you offers in price may be since it was a week day. not sure about the price during weekends.

a decent place to hangout with people with cost efficient with decent taste and varieties.

very good buffet spread for price of 750/- and dessert spreads is amazing, very good place for get together and birthday.

had been for dinner my family and friend's family.  located in right spot.
the park doesn't have any other restaurant than this.  food was moderate in quality , variety of the food items in the buffet was less.

for place like coimbatore , feel this is over priced with less options.

superb ambiance, but bad food. had a lot of expectations for their desserts and they disappointed too. go take a few selfies, leave. don't eat.

cozy place to spend time with friends and family or business as well. well spread buffet for both veg and non veg. great pizzas, salads and desserts. friendly staff.

went for a lunch buffet. overpriced for the number of dishes. also we had to keep asking about different varieties that were then served on request (fish mainly) that was part of the buffet. very irritating when you go with kids. why can't they just put all food there or at least tell customers clearly what is included in the buffet? weird. and taste was very average. won't be back.

grabbed few of their delicacies part of their dinner buffet menu, food tasted alright, nothing very special about taste or varieties, ambiance is modern, well arranged floor!

went for the buffet for lunch. all i could say best about it was the dessert section which had a lot of varieties including gulab jamun, sweet pongal, bite sized cheesecakes, fruit truffles, banana pudding, custard.
but the other sections lacked this kind of spread. the only rice available was a chicken biryani and the kebabs were not good. most of the food were kept inside and served only on request, despite being included in the buffet. even ice creams and fish fry were served on request, but they were a part of the buffet.
all the food included was not kept in view of the customers in the buffet. very average.

we ordered at 1 and had our food at 3 . at 2.30 when no food had arrived they announced their closing time. if you have too much time to waste on doing nothing you could really walk in here. the food was really average for the price. heard their buffet is good. haven't tried that though. the place is really clean and nice .

started off with a lemon coriander chicken soup...hmm...this is good
munched the zone chicken 65 in between..hmmm..this is nice too...chicken pieces were well marinated and hence the flavour was dominant...thought of trying something different and here comes the baby prawns marinara pizza. well am a tad dissapointed here , had to search for.the already baby prawns with a lens..hey where are the prawns...am alnost full...the pizza was heavy!!
finally attacked the live food counter and bought back the old favourite appam with coconut milk. wow..nice way to end the meal.
liked the place , loved the ambience, another visit soon. they alao serve drinks..in case somebody wants to embrace the bottle.during weekends

bazaar is an over priced decent restaurant in coimbatore. the buffet lunch costs about 1000 per head ( inclusive of taxes) . they do not serve alcohol as they are technically on a high way :-)

the restaurant is located at the ground floor of the zone hotel. its interiors is very colorful and vibrant. lots of interesting and old-gold stuff / pictures decorate the interiors of this small place. place is cramped up due to the small lobby of the hotel. hence, you do not get the ambiance of a high-end hotel.

food wise, they do have chats to begin with. it has all the basic varies of indian chats, though i did not try much. the starters on the buffet are very limited. they just had one non-veg started on the buffet and offered 2 other non-veg dishes through live counter ( both were chinese style ). they do have a decent set of options for main course, though all of them are the usual suspects in any buffet restaurant. nothing, out of the box !the chicken biryani and mutton curry tasted good, but the oriental styled fried fish was indeed very good.

they do have about 8-10 options on the salad. spicy boiled egg was the pick of the lot. but, the best part of the buffet was the dessert section. they had pastries, indian sweets, ice creams, mousse, custard and cakes on the menu. most of them were delicious, especially the mango cheese cake. they also offer coffee and tea as a part of the buffet.

the service is good. the waiters take good care of you and ensure that the order is served quickly. they are pleasant in their interaction and make you feel comfortable.

on the whole, it is a decent and colorful restaurant with some good desserts. but, it is too pricey for what they offer . i would go with 3.5 out of 5 for this restaurant. it is definitely worth a visit once.

a perfect buffet with perfect flavour. the food had been very much satisfactory with enough varities. totally worth for the price we pay and go for the desserts section with some extra space in your tummy , they are very sassy !

very nice pizzas! they also have a tasty all american burger although the quality of the bread could be better. i wish they had their chilly fish starter with any other fish, but using basa is such a disappointment! service has been  good on most visits.

yesterday(19th jan 2017) we go for dinner buffet. no mutton food. average quality in chicken and fish food, pizza is not so good. only pani puri and apple salad is good. hotel service is good. but food is not worth and not good, my one of the worst dinner buffet.

they have great pepperoni pizzas! in general the quality of their food has been consistent. their buffet has a wide spread, however not a big fan of their desserts. the service is good. the seating is comfortable. their beef steak is also worth trying.
