awesome vibe, authentic. over the last 20 years we have frequented this place dozen times. each time we have been there, we always ask ourselves why it's been so long - as the place has such a great vibe, excellent food and outstanding service.
this time we so enjoyed our crawfish - on tuesdays, you can get 5 pounds for the price of 3. we were in heaven!! we feasted on crawfish and drank hurricanes to our hearts content! for dinner, i enjoyed the blackened catfish which was to die for. my husband ordered the pork chops with the cornbread jalapeno stuffing and was quite happy. our sons split a full order or bbq ribs and a side order of mac n cheese - our table has never been so quiet!! the meat just fell off the bone and the boys gobbled it up.. our server was great, she told us of upcoming acts that the restaurant had scheduled and constantly checked in on us. we couldnt have asked for more.
i'm writing this review because although we have always enjoyed this restaurant i felt as though we owed them something. they have always provided us with great food, great attention, and above all great service. i'm sure this is the reason they've been in business for over 20 years. kudos to them!
