will fly 2000 miles for this pizza. the sauce...the crust, all that crunchy cornmeal...the sausage...the pepperoni...i live in london but the first thing i do when returning to south bend for a visit is to visit barnaby's. i wish i could take the component ingredients back on the plane to recreate the experience in england, but i probably couldn't get the oven hot enough. bruno's is great too, but they are different kinds of pizza. and the low lighting and 80's atmosphere are part of the charm. love love love it. wildly recommend a visit.

do not order the "premium chicken tenders", i repeat do not order the "premium chicken tenders'. 😝😝😝 you can find better at a fast food spot.

i love your pizza, but this is not an authentic hoosier tenderloin. the real thing is fresh (not frozen) and large. it hangs out the sides of the bun. this is not it.

nothing like i rember. i got a large pizza from barnaby's on jefferson last night, and it had almost no flavor at all. i rember many years ago how much i loved their pizza. that was a waste of $27 that i won't be doing again. i was going to get brunos, and i wish i would have.

cool restaurant, not my favorite pizza. i'm a transplant from the philly, new york area and i've gotten picky about my pizza... not my favorite here, it tasted ok, but i prefer the pizza over at hot box myself (yes, i know, heresy). but the restaurant is cool. nice ambiance, friendly service. a little pricey. some people love it, i'll probably be back, just wasn't my favorite.

love it or hate it. barnaby's is one of those love it or hate it eateries in the south bend area.
my family: loves.
i: hate.
try it for yourself and make your own decision.

only menu items i will eat here: beer by the mug or pitcher, salad bar and breadsticks (and that's pushing it!)

family fave: cheese or pepperoni pizza, breaded mushrooms with ranch

tips: call in pizza order ahead and it will be ready within minutes of picking a seat and grabbing drinks!
mug club saves on drinks. worth it.
coupons are re-useable and generally do not expire.

thin crust only. arguably the best thin crust pizza in northern indiana...$15-20 for a large depending on how many toppings you get.

they are famous for their cheese and sausage pizza. i am a pepperoni fan but i have to get the sausage when i eat at barnabys, no pun intended

awesome, simple menu. dark and sexy, big room. nice bar, friendly staff. pizza is great here.

pizza after a ball game.. i took my two son's here for pizza after watching a silver hawks game. the outside is decieving at night and te inside isnt much brighter but the food was great. the sauce was flavorful and the cheese was plentiful.

not impressed, doesn't live up to the hype. my boyfriend always raves about the pizza at barnaby's so one night after a south bend silverhawks game we went there for dinner. the place is a dive and set up cafeteria style. no problem with me as long as the pizza is good. i will admit i'm a bit of a pizza snob. i'm not a fan of thin crust or the cracker crust style. the pizza was very dry and the crust had no flavor. if you like thin crust you might like it but for the price and the size (we easily ate the whole pizza between the two of us) i expected more. salad was also just average. i'm still searching for a good pizza place in south bend. so far domino's and pizza hut have been the best i've found, lol.

best pizza in st. joe. waaaaay better than the grape road sister restraunt. what's not to love? the crust is amazing, the sauce and cheese are plentiful, and the sausage is a force to be reckoned with. this place is a must try for any pizza lover!

good pizza but durty place. the pizza is the best here but i have a hard time returning do to how durty the place is. no wonder why they keep the lights down low so you can't see durt.

i grew up with barnaby's and its a cozy and friendly place, a little dark but it couldn't be any other way. the pizza is spectacular with its unique tasting sauce and delectable crust. i recommend it to everyone, families, friends to the enthusiastic barnabys
