service sucked and they only have bottled beer no draft, but i must say the food was great, caprese salad and spaghetti w meatballs was tits

based upon their handling of our visit, i am going to give them kudos for listening, and apologizing. ultimately any restaurant can have a misfire. in general we have really enjoyed babbos and will be giving them another try soon. their menu is very good, and the service is generally excellent.

this place has good food. i've been coming to babbo for at least five years. unfortunately i won't be going back. every time i go there i wait forever for my food. today was my first time at the new one and i was hoping it would be different but it was the same long ass wait for my food.

chicken limone was delicious, plentiful and served fast even during the evening rush. the bread is soft and warm, appears freshly baked. will definitely return.

atmosphere zero. my wife and i visited babbos on a recommendation from an italian friend who said his wife always asked for babbos take out food and said it was the best. perhaps we didn't order what was "best" but we did not like it one bit. the atmosphere is zero. it's like sitting in a department window display. the bread with olive oil and vinegar was good. salad dripped with dressing. service was not good either. seemed like forever before the food was served. we asked the waiter for water refill and it arrived at the end of the meal after repeatedly asking for water. i felt sorry for the large crowd waiting to get a table. perhaps they knew what to order. popular place apparently, but not for me.

service issues. went last night with a party of four, and the waiter was quite jovial in welcoming us. however, he was not attentive to my order, and realized today that he delivered the wrong order. i asked for the chopped gorgonzola salad, and to leave off the mozzarella as i felt the gorgonzola would be fine with the chicken, the fruit and the walnuts. as i was eating the salad, was puzzled by the flavors as they were not what i expected, and couldn't find any fruit or nuts as specified in the menu. when i mentioned this to the server, he said the balsamic vinaigrette must be affecting my taste. i brought the remainder of the salad home, and found that the salad did include gorgonzola and chicken, as well as salami and pepperoncini. wish the waiter had been more interested and responsive instead of dismissing my question; a simple check to look at the salad and he would have known that i had been given the chopped chicken salad instead of the one i requested. the other orders were fine, just very disappointed with mine....

what a shame........ babbo has been the "go to" restaurant for myself and my wife for a few years. we obviously have our favorites, like the three cheese mac and cheese and the sicilian ragu, and we order both of them today for take out. it did strike me as odd when i arrived and noticed that the restaurant was nearly empty......did i miss something? it was a sunday, but in the 3 years that i've been eating here and bringing extended family to eat here i have never seen it so slow.
anyway, i ordered our usual and waited what seemed like an unusually long time, paid and left. once home, i greedily opened the dishes and immediately noticed that the takeout containers looked half full, literally. so i called and explained my concern. i was reassured that i was wrong by the woman on the phone whom never told me her name. but i did tell her that i wasn't looking for anything free and just wanted her to keep an eye on what was coming out of the kitchen.
now........we plated the food and started devouring what should have been some of our favorites. i can tell you with a good amount of certainty that both dishes do not taste the same. not even close. the flavors that made those dishes so great were missing, completely. the three cheese mac and cheese used to have a chipotle cream sauce, what we got today was clearly alfredo sauce. even my kids whom loved this dish didn't want to eat it, or save it for tomorrow. my wife agreed with their assessment of it.....
unfortunately my sicilian ragu was the same story:(. this was one of the only pastas in the valley that i really looked forward to eating!!! i genuinely hope that this was a fluke. i'm going to give it some time and try it again. it's the least i can do for this restaurant.

always delicious. for people that may be driving past babbo italian eatery and wondering if it's any good - the answer is yes, and you should find out for yourself. we have been here a number of times, probably about a dozen, and have never had a bad experience. the staff is great, the meals are delicious and plentiful - what more could you need? there are a bevy of choices when it comes to pasta options, i tend to lean toward the curried chicken and pear pasta, but have tried a number of entrees. the bread is great with a nice olive oil and vinaigrette, and i would recommend the firecracker rolls for an app.

nice to have in surprise. love the spring mix salad! focacchia and oil dip is always nice. we keep going back.

not a good experience. the only good thing at this restaurant was the bread. my pasta was terrible, i ordered the tomato basil mozza - it was so salty i didn't even eat it. my daughter didn't eat her meal after - at the end the waitress saw 2 full bowls and asked if we wanted boxes - we said no thank you and she cleaned them up. she didn't even ask us why we didn't eat our meals! we will not be back, should have gone across the parking lot to macayo's

tasty delicious food! i usually get the creamy garlic chicken and it is always fantastic. the bread they serve you is so yummy, i can just eat that the whole night with the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixture they serve with the bread. my husband tries something different every time we go and he always enjoys his meal. the only bad thing i can say is the wait and the service. they start getting busy around 430pm, seeing that they are a lot of senior citizens that live in the area and they like dinner early. when you go anytime after 430pm be prepared to wait for a table or booth and the servers are fast but they are very busy so service might be lackluster after 430pm as well. i would recommend this place.

the steak n bleu salad is amazing!

all of us were very happy with our meals, the service and the value. i will happily be a repeat customer.

surprise babbo. five of my friends and i went to babbo in surprise on saturday dec 4. it was the first time for five of us. the food was okay but the service was terrible. i called after i got home to complain but all the manager did was keep telling me that was not like the waiter(like i made it up!) i don'tthink we will be back.good customer service is definately not their goal!
