love this place! amazing coffee drinks! vegan and gluten free! agreed they need a/c but eat outside its nice out!

i've been wanting to check out the vegan cuisine at baagan for a long time, and finally drove up to roseville with my friend kathy for lunch there last week. i ordered the veggie wrap, pictured above, with a spinach herb tortilla as my choice of wrap. the other option would have been a raw nori seaweed sheet. i also had a choice of spreads: hummus, jalapeno hummus, pesto, cheesy chipotle, creamy cilantro jalapeno, curry mustard, sun-dried tomato, or olive tapenade. i ordered hummus and olive tapenade, and they were both very tasty. the wrap was filled with an abundance of fresh vegetables, including mixed greens, tomatoes, carrots, red bell pepper, and cucumbers. i might have been able to eat the whole wrap if i hadn't begun my meal with a cup of baagan's black-eyed pea soup. but then i really would have missed out, because the soup was excellent, flavored with indian spices. a different soup is offered every day, and they all sound wonderful. kathy ordered a cup of soup and the grille

absolutely delicious!!!. you absolutely cannot go wrong with anything you order here... i eat here at least once per week and it's really the only place i eat out at on a regular basis. the cheesecake is sooo good. i pretty much always order a veggie sandwich with hummus or the quinoa veggie wrap with pesto sauce. mmmm! i am going there now to pick up my order! they really make eating fun, healthy and tasty!

while i thoroughly enjoyed my meal and thought baagan offered some excellent foods, my sister’s reaction was so-so. she thought the food tasted fine, but after the first few bites, the novelty began to fade away. our opinions didn’t matter though, as the place was packed even on a monday afternoon! i also noticed a lot of elderly folk were fond of the place :p.

loved, loved, loved it! great people and great food. i had the curry panini which was pretty good, not too spicy, and their orange juliet which is like a vegan version of an orange julius, which was amazing. there are so many vegan options to choose from. i will definitely be going back there soon.

i finally got a chance to try baagan, a new vegan and mostly raw restaurant in roseville, ca. i am so excited to have a choice other than the meat-laden chain restaurants with ridiculously long waits for tables that are on every corner here. don't get me wrong, we do have a nice selection of places and i can usually find one or two things on their menus to eat, so i do give them credit for that. but, i am a huge fan of "hole-in-the-wall" restaurants and it is so exciting to have so many healthy and yummy vegetarian choices all in one place!

wonderful experience !. my entire family (including the in-laws from colorado) visited baagan this last sunday for lunch and i have to say not only was the service excellent and the atmosphere very comfortable, but the food was awesome. we had the grilled panini sandwich and the black bean soup. we also ordered a veggie wrap to go and we were reminded of how nice the experience was at baagan all over again when we ate the sandwich later that afternoon. we will definitely be back and we will be bringing other family and friends as well. thank you baagan for being there and being so friendly.

. i’ve never spent enough time with someone that was a vegan to be properly exposed to the lifestyle in order to appreciate and respect it. so, here goes nothing. when i walked inside i was actually a little confused, i wasn’t so sure all of a sudden that they had much to offer in terms of food. they place had a coffee house thing going on with the design and seating. there was an area with a couple of lounge chairs and a couch. i immediately noticed smoothies, teas and ice cream on the menu. the menu that i apparently skipped over did, however, list soup, salads and sandwiches.

best food. baagan is awesome. nutritious delicious food.the staff is very friendly! the food is excellent and the price are very affordable!!
i have tried everything and some favorites are the veggie sandwich with jalapeno hummus, lentil soup, and the almond butter smoothie.

fantastic!. on the days i'm not able to make my lunch before work now i finally have a healthy option that's quick and easy!! everything i've tried at baagan is fantastic! ...the salads, soups, smoothies, kale chips, sweet treats. and it's affordable! i can't wait to go back!
